Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but that sounds like either the motor bearings or the drum bearings. Whichever it is requires a service engineer I suspect ;-0(
Sorry we cannot do anything remotely.
Good luck,
John C

Screaming noise during last spin cycle

It is so common that the washing machine can make terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.

My LG front loading washer makes a train noise during the rinse cycle. What could be the cause?

if it is right after the drain cycle; it then goes into a spin. It then starts to fill with water for the rinse while the tub is still turning. The water entering the tub while the tub is spinning, cleans the tub of soap and the water going through the holes in the tub are causing the noise. It is normal if only in the rinse cycle.

Our IWL12 is making a screaming sound when filling

May just be the sound of the water running thru valve. try adjusting the tap and see if it changes the noise

Will not hold water during initial cycle

The drain hose needs to be lifted above the high fill level in washer. The easiest way to fix this is take the drain hose (if your drain hose starts from the bottom of machine and goes up)tie or strap it to the back of the washer so it cant sag or drop down and start syphoning the water.Remember the washer will drain out the water if the drain hose is lower than the amount of water in the tub.Thats why your making sure by tieing the drain hose to the highest point before it makes it way to the drain .

Loud screaming sound during spin cycle

The screaming noise is probably from a dry bearing in the motor, it will probably come and go and shouldnt cause to much problem, they are supposed to be self lubricating but sometime they run dry.

Very loud noise during initial fill cycle only

Try it in different temp settings and see if it makes noise in both hot and cold. It probably does it in hot or warm only which would explain why it doesn't do it during the cold fill for rinse. You probably need a fill valve but listen carefully and make sure noise isn't caused by the pipes coming to the machine. If it is 5 yrs old go ahead and replace supply hoses also, this is standard maintainance at that age.

Noise problem

the problem could be either of two bearings. It could be the tub bearing which would require the removal of the inner and outer tubs. it could also be the bearing on the top of the brake package. in either case you will need a specia spanner wrench to remove said parts ( naturally its a different wrench for each) my advice is to call a service tech and let him make a recomendation
