Bottom water arm won't spin easily so the dishes are not getting clean. How do I fix it?

You did not post the make and model number but there is a thin nylon washer that wears out on those and that washer needs to be replaced. You should not need any special tools to get to it.

How do cables for foot control go under foot and under cap

Most cables actually go through a cable hole in the foot control. If you are trying to replace the cable, you will need to take the foot control apart to attach the cable inside. Be very careful! Most foot controls are made of plastic and can be easily broken. Search the internet to for instructions for repairing your machine's foot control.

Instrutions how to replace charging port aspire 6935g

Replacing a DC Power jack in any computer is no easy task. However, it can be done by any novice. First, get on ebay and see what jack you need. Search for you jack by entering Acer Aspire 6935g jack. Most of the new ones have the cable attached to the jack instead of the old fashion solder.

Next, Google this question and check out the YouTube videos regarding Acer DC Jack replacement. It will give you an idea as to what you need to do. You may want to take a video camera and record what steps you take when you take it apart so you can review how to put it back together. Also, get a sewing box or something so you can put the screws in a separate container for the order you removed them; ie: bottom screws; hard drive screws, DVD mount screw... etc..

You always have to start with the bottom and work your way to the top. You will have to remove the palm rest, keyboard, heat shields and any other piece of hardware to get to it.

How do I open the machine to replace the bobbin ring on a Brother CS-80?

Here's MY answer.
  • The case halves are held together by 5 larger screws, one under the carry handle, obvious from the holes in the casing, plus one smaller screw up by the foot-raising lever.
  • There is also the final screw, which is a devil to find. You have to remove the plastic tray to which the spool carrier is attached, up by the spool winder. You do not need to remover the spool winder stop but the small screw on the left, in the bottom of the tray-shape.
Next, WITH CARE , lever round the tray with a thin blade and use a small screwdriver to ease it out of the case; there are 2 bits that stick out more than the rest.
  • Once this tray is out you can see a small bar with a screw. Remove this screw and the 2 halves of the case will separate.
TAKE CARE NOT TO DROP THE SCREW INTO THE WORKS!. A piece of sticky-tack on the end of the screwdriver helps here if the screwdriver is not magnetized.
  • Now you can carefully ease the ribbon-strip cable from the circuit board and move the case round to be able to access the screws that hold the circuit board. You do not need to pull out the other cables; just take a tad of care as you work.
The bobbin winder mechanism is held in by 1 screw - take this out and you can then easily replace the rubber drive ring -(which you have providently ordered)
  • Take the opportunity to clear out any fluff and dust while you have the cases apart. Put ONE drop of oil in the center of the bobbin carrier rotating mechanism and one drop on any moving joints.
  • Replace the components/ ribbon cable in the reverse order, taking care not to drop the small screw! It is necessary to carefully line-up the hole into which it fits. It is surprising how easily the tray clips back into place, compared with the hassle you had getting it out.
I took both my CS 8080s apart last week to replace the drive rubbers. The first took nearly 1.5 hours, the next 1 hour as I knew what I was about.

My canon 2318 shows error e-000007-0000 how can i solve this problem

This is an error coe related to the fuser assembly. The fixing film has been damaged and isn't rotating properly. You need to remove the fixing assy and replace it. When it's taken apart you will see what is wrong. You should also be prepared to change out the cleaner for the lower pressure roller and also you may have to replace that roller. This is one of the easier fixing assy to rebuild. Lower the left door, unscrew the black screw that attaches the cable you see, lower it further so you can unplug the cable at the bottom left of door, remove this door, then remove the black cover at the left of the fixing assy, unplug the three connections you find under this cover, remove the brass colore screw you see at the upper right of the paper guide, then remove the two screws holding the fuser, then carefully remove the fixing assy. Once removed you take apart the fixing assy. First untangle the three wires you will see at the left of the assy, gently take them from their guides, remove the two springs, then reove the top keeping in mide that a yellow wires will still be attached to the bottompart, the fixing film then can be easily seen, unplug the right side ( the white wires and the brown clip and gently remove it, once removed look at the cindition of the lower pressure roller usually orange in color, if in good condition let it go but one thing to note if it is replaced be sure to remove the rubber disk at the end of the old roller at put it on the new roller, you may also have to remove the paper guide to more easily remove the roller. Now just reverse all that you have done with whatever new parts you need. Then look at the assy and look at the exit side of it, you should see ayellow piece of metal with a single screw it it. Remove this screw and angled piece of mettal, remove the cleaner and see its condition, usually it's a good idea to replace this no matter it's condition and a good habit. Good luck.

Replacing CD-RW/DVD Drive

I own a Presario F730US. I have had it apart many times and it is a difficult case to open. There are several ribbon cables that are easily damaged if you are not very careful. You have to pop up the speaker cover panel as there are case screws under it as well. Once inside you will see the screws that retain the optical drive. Once you remove them it will slide right out and the new one will slide right in. I can not overstate how careful you have to be. If you are not 100% sure of yourself I would recomend that you take it to a repair shop and let a qualified tech assist you. The screws you need to get to are under the keyboard. The whole laptop does not need to be disassembled to swap the drive. Once you pop the speaker bazel and the keyboard you are home free. If you need more help feel free to ask.

Nintendo ds damaged ribbon cable

You can't buy a ribbon for the bottom screen. (You can buy the ribbon that connects the motherboard to the daughter board which connects the top screen.). A new screen is the answer but be very careful when taking off the touch screen. Gently pry the two screens apart or else you will need a new touch screen. Also make a note of how the touch screen is attached to the LCD screen, as the touch screen is not the same size as the LCD screen. How have you damaged the ribbon? Could it be that it may not be pushed tight and straight into the connector? BTW the top and bottom LCD screens are the same. Some unscrupulous dealers have been charging differing amounts for 'Top' or 'Bottom' screens!
