What type of messages are you forwarding? If they are text/sms/mms you will need to make sure that you are entering in the 11 digit number. The North Ameican dialing code is 11 digits, and even though you can technicaly dial a 10 digit number and get through, sometimes the system can be picky. If you are trying to send a text/sms/mms to an email address, you will need to enter in the desired address. If you are forwarding an email to a cellular number, then you will need to find out that address, as it will not be the same as the mobile number. Ex: 111-111-1111@mymms.att.net this will vary from provider to provider.

How to Send a Message From a Computer to a BlackBerry?

A BlackBerry is like the holy grail of communication devices. There are certainly multiple ways of receiving messages on a BlackBerry device---via text message, BlackBerry Instant message, or even with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Probably the most convenient way to send a message from a computer to a BlackBerry handheld device is to send it via email.
Instructions
  1. Get the BlackBerry email address of the intended recipient. The recipient may use an alternate email account from which their messages are forwarded to their BlackBerry device.
  2. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Entourage) on your computer or log on to your web-based email account.
  3. Compose a message. Mail it to the intended recipient at the email address that they use on their BlackBerry.

  3. Add the new recipient(s) and any additional text to your message.
    • If the message has attachments, you can choose not to forward them by scrolling to the bottom of the message text and clicking the x where the attachment is listed.
    • Older messages in the conversation may also be included in the text. You can simply delete the text if you don't want to forward it.
  4. Click Send.

I have received an email which includes a paragraph I want to add to another email

You can forward the message to the second recipient, remove the parts of the old message that you do not want, keep the paragraph you want and complete the text of your message and send. Remove or edit the REFerence line.
