Question about Cell Phones
Hi, yes these symptoms indeed indicate a problem, within the Phone itself, i fear.
please find above your user manual, this may provide some setting up assistance if you don't have one at hand.
You see I think what may have happened is that during the time between when it worked, and when you discovered it wasn't, it has developed an internal "Fault" most likely to do with "Handshaking" between the router and your Phone.
These LEDs you describe, are the Connect and activity LEDs usually whenever there is a successful connection and data transfer, one should illuminate all the time, and the other usually Flashes.
Also please avail yourself of the support website below, contact them, and they will assist you. Also if they indeed concur with what I have proposed, they can then tell you what you need to do to effect a remedy to your problem.
Using the manual, perhaps try a step by step reinstall, reset, so remove them from the Power momentarily, the router and phone, now set the phone up, as per instructions... IF after you do this all again, AND there is still NO improvement, then there is NO option but to replace the phone, and see if it works, if the problem is still there then the router may indeed be faulty..
Also check that your router hasn't got any Firmware upgrades outstanding? Also have you made sure that this Phone and this router will actually "Play well together"? as often they will not, often there is a golden list, of things that will work together.. it may pay to check?
see with problems such as this one MUST introduce a new element into the picture to tell which instrument is at fault, substitution often is the only answer, if all else fails.

It's fine you told me your base unit is connected via RJ 45 can you tell me kindly how that wall mounted unit is connected via two wire rj11 or something else. In these type of cases media is important I may ask you to connect the rj 45 to a pc or laptop in order to get the delay.
