Pleas help me I can not open my GPS for a tjek the batteri.

take it to a dealer or repair shop.

try to flash again, with another firmware version or same, because this happen when battery charge is low during flash. that kill mobile. so do it again, if problem persist try to press *+3+green button+power on button hold pressed up to say insert sim. if problem persist that mean you need give some repairer to full flash with flashing box.

I have a UNIDEN TRAX5000 it has all of a sudden started coming up with a message "Please Insert SD Card" we have never had a SD Card in our GPS before and it worked perfecly... Pleas HELP!!!

tap on "GPS Status" (second page of GPS software) and be sure that the box is checked in the upper left hand corner. In the same screen, be sure com 8 and 9600 (baud rate) is shown.

if when u say 520 u talk about mio c520 with igo or miomap then the home adress is set to the first map opened by the program...i fixed the problem by deleting all the maps and putting them back... but u must copy first your desired countrys` map and open the device...then copy the rest of them....jope you`ll get it Fix-ed Ya...
