Hi..i have a c9 and when it sits over night its hard to start....it will start for a few sec then dies...then u have to roll and roll the engine over then it starts up

It sounds more like a fuel problem to me then a bad coil or spark ign the spark should be blue but its hard to see in daylight
You say you rebuilt the carb are you sure your main mixture jets are at least 2 to 3 turns out off the stops .
Try pouring fuel down the barrel fill the float bowl if it runs then dies its fuel don't let it catch unfire you should have 45 sec. of run time then adjust the the mixture screws 2 turns is base but when its is running good turn them in 1 at a time and give it 30 sec. to adjust until it starts to stumble then back it out a 1/4 two 1/2 turn then repeat on bank 2

Chances are you have a bad starter solenoid

Sounds like a dead battery??

put so sea foam in carb let it sit over night start next morning should run fine it cleans out the carb get sea form at auto store runs about 10.99 a bottle just fill carb let sit

This could be caused by a bunch of thing's , fuel system , engine sensors , ignition system , PCM etc.... Testing is the way to eliminate guessing . Viewing scan data is the best way to diagnose these type problems .

Your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop .

first you have to charge the battery to test it, then start the car and test the alternator, my guess is you will find the alt. bad

If the vehicle has been sitting for a while, you should start by draining the fuel tank, and changing the engine oil. Gasoline does go bad if it is just sitting for a period of time, and will cause the issue you describe. Most likely, your issue is simply bad gasoline.

Check the catalitic converter in the exaust. It may be stopped up. This can cause these symptoms.

need to have the alternator tested sounds like a bad voltage regulator.
