try resetting the unit. press down on the power/menu button for 15 seconds, and when the pinwheel turns off, wait ten seconds, the turn it on with the HOLD icon in place, and push and hold the record button while it turns on. this will usually bring you to the recovry mode. then you must plug your sandisk onto you rcomputer, and wait for it to tell you when to unplug it. I f this does not work, go to the store that you got it from, and tell them. They will usually happily replace it, but if they don't, then call sandisk, press four for MP3 SUPPORT, and talk to them about it.

The way I do it on my MP3 is go to My Computer when device is connected. Then double click on the external drive or whatever it lists your MP3 player as (should be below your D: drive). If you open the external drive you will find whatever folders are on your MP3 player. Drag and drop your music in the music folder and it should work like a charm!

How do i download music to my coby 620 mp3 player and what site is good

Two ways, 1: download winamp, the mp3 player will show up in the 'portables' on the left side menu. You can drag and drop individual songs on to it this way. 2: open your music folder and drag and drop files/folders into the mp3 player icon in "My Computer"
Are you referring to which sites are good for downloading music? Torrents are the quickest, most efficient and safest way of downloading shared music. bittorrent.com for the torrent client (downloader) kickasstorrents, isohunt, thepiratebay for torrents.

I need to find an installation program to switch my zen nano to vista from xp

try here first and if that doesn't work you should be able to load it using the drag and drop method
support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=14186

heres the drag and drop/windows media player options
**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

I can't download music from my computer to my InVion 256MB MP3/WMA/REC. Do I need something special? Computer says it recognizes new hardware but I have'nt been able to download music

Are you getting a specific error message when you try to transfer songs? Does it look like they are transferrring, and then do not play? Are you just looking for the program that you would use to transfer songs? I would suggest Windows Media Player. Is iTunes your music service? If so, they will not work with this mp3 player.

You can also drag and drop the Mp3 or WMA files from Windows Explorer:
Try this - connect your mp3 player to computer --> double-click on My Computer --> double-click on the icon of the mps player --> double-click on the music folder --> drag and drop the music files to a folder/desktop of your own choosing

Check the format of the song - this player will play mp3 or wma, but if your wma's do not have "transfer rights" then you cannot transfer them to this or any other player.

Downloading music

Oh.. If I know that mp3 player, it's a USB2 type (Where you plug it directly into your computers open USB slot).

I could list alot of sites where you can buy songs, but if you have some on your computer, It's just a drag-and-drop situation.

Running Windows XP? Drivers should automatically enable it to run from your system. Try doing the following.

Open "My Computer" after plugging the player in. If you see it, you can just grab a song from your collection and drop it straight into the player.

Also Media player might be able to sync your music, but I prefer this method... Less of a hassle.
