The pump could be out or it could just need primed. Saeco sells a cheap hand pump that you insert into the receiver and force water into the system while the pump is pumping. This will often prime the pump and get things going. Call 1 800 933 7876 and tell one of the customer service reps you need a priming pump.

SOURCE: Saeco Aroma Espresso pump not drawing water

Hi Espressoless,

You have to force in water to the machine, to this you need a bellow pump or similar and force it into the water tank inlet when you do a priming.

SOURCE: My Saeco Aroma Expresso machine has water leaks

Hi,

I think you have to replace the gasket in the machine where the portafiller fits on the machine.

Make sure your filter is clean before you replace any gasket.

Saeco how to reset

called saeco helpdesk and with their assistance found the reset button inside the machine (open the top with a screwdriver). there are three termostates. on the middle one there is a button. when you push it you hear a metallic sound. then you have to close everything and put it on again.

how to avoid this problem: it is important that there comes no air into the heater. So you have to watch the water supply carefully and leave the air out from time to time.

The fixing of my Saeco Aroma problem

Hi,

Try first this.

Fill the water tank with water, power on the machine.
open the steamknob and press the button for making coffee, if you are lucky you will get water out of the steam pipe.

If you not get any water then you have to press in water with force in the tube you can see in your water tank, the instruction above is the same on this case.

Hope it will help you.

No water coming out

Well on a Aroma I allways test to see if its just not air in the machine.

Turn on the machine.

press the coffe button.

Then press the steamer button ( dont turn off the coffe button.)

Do it come out hot water from the steam nossle then after a while?

Then turn of the steam button, if the filter is not blocked there should now come water from the coffe outlet.

Hi,

Try to reset the thermostat.

Take off the water tank, now you will see two screw, one in each corner. Take off the top, now you will see the boiler.

There are one thermostat with a pin in the middle, push down this.

Put the top on again and the screw.

Hope this will help you.
