Apex LD-1919 I couldn't find the model in the selections. Hopefully you can help. I have an Apex ld-1919 (19" flat screen). It's my daughter's tv. We have had it less than a month. All of the sudden no matter what button you push on the remote, the channel goes up. I am very confused! Help!

Which model TV do you have?

The TVs in the LD-325 line are 14.55 pounds with the stand, but is 13.45 lbs without. If you have the original shipping container and all the accessories, the LD-3255VX weighed 21.83 lbs. The LD-3255AR is 23.2 lbs in the box.

The EW32S3PW with the stand is 15 pounds and 1.5 pounds lighter without the stand.

The older model SK-32H640G is 23.9 pounds with the stand. Removing the stand takes 1.4 lbs off the TV weight. When in the original box with accessories, the TV weighed 27.0 pounds.

There are a number of other models, so please add a comment with the model number and if the stand and accessories are going to be in the same box. I hope this gives you some help.

The inverter is the usual suspect with that symptom. It may be hard to find a replacement inverter for an apex model. But you might be able to get one from www.tvrepairworld.com

If other connectors or built-in tuner work, replace main board.

Please follow guidelines in operation manuals of both.

The Westinghouse LD-4655VX TV has code compatibility with Sony TVs (http://westinghouseelectronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Remote_Codes_2012.pdf). I accidentally discovered that the Sony TV remote RM-YD040 works with my he Westinghouse LD-4655VX (because I have both TV sets).

Remember you have to have a High-Def signal source to actually view High-Definition video. This means local broadcast TV in HD or digital cable TV with HD service and a HD channel or satellite or a Bluray Disc.

Connect audio out jacks from the tv to aux or video audio input of reciever. use optical input if present for best sound quality.

Throw the dam thing into the trash. I bought a 19" Model:1919 it lasted about 14 months. I paid about $200 for it. I will never never buy anything that Apex makes ever again. Live & learn

Power supply issues or shorted horizontal output transistor. Probably not worth having repaired unless you DIY....
