Question about Cameras
Obviously there is a camera firmware issue. You said you have printers can you see if one of the printers has a set of memory card readers for "Direct Printing these look like Odd looking USB ports but memory cards plug into them. You can use one of these ports to bypass your camera download system and camera software. The files can be loaded directly to your computer hard drive to a New folder you create in "My Documents" this system has now stepped around both your camera firmware and camera computer software. If you have a Photoshop program you can open and do what ever you want to these images. Failing having a printer with memory card reading capabilities the readers themselves are fairly inexpensive.
