If you have tested the monitor on another computer then it is not a issue with the monitor if it works..

can you try another monitor on that unit?

if so and it works. then problems solved if not then we know its either a issue with the motherboard or the video card.

nice motherboard

I need to buy a matherboard for my compaq presario sr 5610 f

I just replaced the motherboard in a Compaq SR5610F because the capacitors were swollen and the computer was flaky: rebooting, losing devices, etc.

I bought an ASRock N68-CGS FX, about $50 shipped. The processor and memory from the Compaq work in it, and the board fits just fine in the case; in addition, you can devote 256 megs of shared memory to video (double the Compaq board). If you want to upgrade later, it will take a number of AMD 3 or 3+ processors, and there are two DDR3 memory slots.

No VGA ouput from ASrock K8NF4G VSTA motherboard CMOS battery OK, DDR Dimms OK, HDD OK.

There is only one way to fix this problem, you heave to go out and buy an external VGA of PCI- Express connector, check 1st which one your board supports, then connect your monitor there.

Can i use AMD phenom 9850 in m2n-sli deluxe mother board

According to all of my available resource's the processor needs an AM2+ socket but your board has an AM2 socket. So I would contact the manufacturer and ask them just to be safe, but I am sure that the board you have has an AM2 socket for the CPU.

Hope this Helps,
RCF

Asrock alivenf6p-vsta socket am2 m/board just build my pc from new everythiong work but the monitor wont come but it works on my other pc can you help

do you have onboard video as well and a video card in?

if so place the cord into the onboard and see if it fires up properly

if so then refer to your bios to turn it off and use your video card for the video and then it should work fine.

I have an ASRock AM2NF6G-VSTA motherboard that will not power up. I upgraded the system and powered it up and it ran fine, except I had not received the new upgrade power supply. I received and installed...

check the power supplies you have if it is working well. then reset cmos.
then if it would not power on, your motherboard maybe a deadset (meaning dead/unusable).
