Question about Suspension & Steering for Suzuki Kizashi

2 Answers

I've noticed when parked my new 2011 Kizashi Sport leans on the drivers side in the rear. Seems like when I take a right turns the suspension is not returning to it's level state. Any Ideas? Could it be bushings or springs.

Thanks. Only thing is my car doesn't have leaf springs. It has a mult-link suspension.

Sounds like the shock might be blown or ceased. Time to replace it.

Only two things could cause this...
A: the shock absorber is cactus, or
B: bushes are siezed on your lower control arm.

To chech which it is, you have to pull the wheel off, unbolt the strut on the lower end and probly the sway bar from the lower control arm... see if you can move the lower control arm up and down by hand if you can then its the shockie... if you have a set of spring compessors then remove the spring from the strut, stand the strut rite way up on the ground between your feet and knees grab the shaft and then push and pull up and down nice and hard to see if it moves freely... there sould be some resistance but souldnt be stiff... the faster you push the more resistance you should get.

Hope this helps.

Hi

Check the height of the rear springs at the shackles fore and aft and compare the height. May be a broken rear leaf spring. If the back is lower it might be the leafs.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Why am I hearing a low pinging sound in the rear/left suspension in my 92 Chrysler Lebaron when I turn?

Its probably the shock/ strut.. i never worked on one of them cars but usually you can take rear shock/strut out through back seat or trunk. You have buy or rent special tool to keep the spring compressed when taking the strut apart.

I think your problem is in the wheel bearing. It needs to be replaced or just adjusted. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Rear driver side tires leaning in

this is an indication of the rear suspension bushes or arm failing or bent. have the rear suspension completely rear repaired with all new bushes and then have the rear end wheel aligned.

I have no break lights or turn signals

Turn signal tail lights and BRAKE LIGHTS NOT WORKING

It can be faulty brake light switch causing the problem or its blown brake light bulb. First check and confirm brake light lamp is working and that's not the case.

For turn signal not working it can be faulty turn signal switch or its issue with wiring:----

There may be some problem in your driver side suspension. Try replacing that and you may get rectified from the problem. You can purchase the suspension parts here. Try this link.
