Go to the page you want to be your homepage then cilck on the house(home) in your upper task bar. A window should drop asking if you'd like to add and/or give you the option to make your homepage.

It is in a different spot depending on which browser you are using. But the first step is the same for all, go to the website you want to use as your homepage, then:

Internet Explorer: Tools, Internet Options, under Homepage hit Use Current.
FireFox: Tools, Options, General tab, Use Current Page.

Let me know if you are using a different browser and we'll go from there!

Will you set my hompage to yahoo and make it stay

In Windows go to control panel then network and internet, and you should see under internet options "change your homepage". Click that. You should see a box to put the Yahoo address in. Either type in the address in or go to the Yahoo home page and copy the URL on the top left of the screen.

Certain types of software downloaded from the internet sometimes will change the home page. So if you are downloading software and the like, always pick the advanced option, then check that it doesn't want to change your browser or home page. This happens a lot with the free software, to make them free they have these "extras" added.

Why is avg my home page and not bt yahoo

Change it! There are many browsers out there and most of them are able to set a startup home page. It may have been bt yahoo, but after installing avg, it was changed by avg! this can sometimes be prevented by unchecking or checking certain boxes during the installation. BUT you can change it back in the browser you use. Look though the options, preferences, or whatever your browser uses for the user settings and change it from avg back to bt.

Want yahoo home page

Browse your way to the preferred home page, then click Tools, Options, General tab, click "Use Current" and the current page will be your home page. Some Spyware will block this change. If that happens, run Malwarebytes to remove all malware, then try setting the home page again.

Yahoo home page

Windows 7 is not a web browser, it has nothing to do with your home page.
Installing crapware and letting it do its "default" installation, instead of you controlling a "custom" installation is changing your web browser's home page, and possibly installing more crapware automatically along the way.

You can change your home page in firefox by dragging the tab to the home icon.

In internet explorer, you will find it at tools>internet options under the General tab.

For other browsers, you can search for "change homepage (browser name)".
