When I print, there are two line balck lines and two faded black lines running down the middle of the page.

I think it is a laser printer.
In laser printer when the drum got damaged (inside the cartridge ) may leads to this state.

so check it out.

Savin 9935DPE is printing one thick vertical balck line down the copy or print pages. About 2 of every 3 pages printed. What's wrong?

are you printing from Doc feeder or glas?? if from feeder then try to make a copy from the glass, does it still do it? yes problem is with drum.

Repeating wide smudgy horizintal line across my printed pages

I had the same problem, replaced the PCR in the cartridge, the small black drum that pre charges the drum and erase the old image.
After that print was all back ok.

Color lines/dashes at top and middle of page when printing.

Your problem lies with the fact that you manually refilled your cartridges. This is not recommended by any technician I know and your solution is in the replacement of all your cartridges with genuine brother consumables. It is going to be expencive, but it is the only real solution.

Vertical fading lines

Sounds like dust on the CMY ribbon. Did you try a new color CMY ribbon?

Possibly the printer has dust floating around on the inside, but if balck prints good, that may not be.

Automatic Allignment Problem

Your balck ink printhead is clogged with buit up ink. Manually clean it with cotton buds and proper cleaning solution, right doen where cartridge sits and the contact area the ink part of cartrigde contacts. Try printing now. Did you reset ink levels too?
