Hello... I am sorry you are having a problem. Unfortunately you cannot get the codes off the internet. You will need to contact the service department at your local Ford dealership. Give them the serial number off the top of your radio and they will be able to give you the code for your radio. Be sure to enter the code correctly because you will only have a certain number of times to enter the code before the radio locks down. Hope this helps. Good luck with your venture!

    5086 is the code

Insert the radio code by repeatedly pressing button 1 until the first
number of the code appears on the display.
Press button 2 until the second number of the code appears in the display.
Repeat the process on buttons 3

Need a ford 6000cd radio key

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Ford service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

I need A new battery for my 2005 ford freestyl what kind should i get

Depending on your location, most Advance Auto, Autozone, O'Reilly's type places will install the battery for you and have a backup battery to plug into your OBDII Connector to save your settings. Either way, you'll probably need a wire brush to scrape off the corrosion on the battery leads.

There is nothing unique about Ford batteries. Any battery of the same physical size and electrical capacity. Personally I will use the Optima when I need a replacement (it is the one that looks like a six pack with cylindrical cells.) With the technician personal on Autoshop or Dealer, keep in mind that:
(1) They do a full check of the charging system before removing the old battery to verify the electrical system.
(2) They check the full system with the new battery
(3) They keep power on the system so you do not loose all radio, alarm and other codes.
(4) Most have a 5 year warranty.
(5) You can get it replaced many more places than there are Ford dealers.
(6) You can generally watch what they are doing.
(7) You can be in and out in an hour or less.
(8) It is no hassle if it is a warranty claim
(9) Instillation is included in the price

Additionally, you ca read this article: auto/maintenance/battery_cleaning.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer and leave a testimonial comment).

Walkie talkie batteries don't last

The Batteries that Motorola uses will die after a while mainly because people leave them on the charger all of the time. But there is a way to refresh them. You let the battery die completely, then you charge it up for about 12 hours. Then you let the battery die completely. Do this a couple of times and the batteries will last long.
Also, Motorola use to make a battery refresher (or did when I worked there.) It will charge and drain the battery automatically. It will even give you a fault if the battery is completely dead. For the HT1000 (for example) it would be the WPPN4065BR.
For future reference, don't constantly charge a battery. Only have it on the charger when the battery is actually dead or very low. This will increase battery life.

hi, if the code your after is for the original radio fitted by ford then the only place you can get this from is your nearest main dealers years ago you use to be able to ring up and they would give it you over the phone but they stopped this as they found out criminals were stealing the stereo's and selling themon after phoning up and getting the unlock code.

So on any car made after about 1990 the only way of getting the code is to take the car and owners documents to your nearest main dealer and they wil then issue you with the code, they dont charge for this but it is worth writing the code down for future reference.

When it was brought new their would have been a little piece of card issued the same size as a credit card with this security code written on it so have a look inside the owners handbook and see if their is either this card or the code written down inside the back of the book as this is the most likely place for it to be written.

Im sorry their is no easy fix for this and it does mean a trip to the main dealers but it does stop theives stealing your stereo as they are useless to them now due to the fact they cant get the code unless they have the owners documents.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

My son has a 2004 Volkswagon Jetta that had a dead radio. It occurred after my daughter -in- law experienced a dead battery, requiring a jump start. The radio was totally dead. All fuses in the fuse panel were checked first. My local Volkswagon service center was kind enough to assist me in removing the radio from the instrument panel (special "key" required) free of charge. In the back of the radio is a 10-amp mini fuse that was blown. Check it out before you spend megabucks replacing anything else.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 Battery Leak

It sounds like a short in the circuit board. Not worth getting fixed unless you find a local person. but first try puting a set of lithium batteries in. sometimes those last forever even when other batteries last less than 10 shots.
other wise try takeing the batteries out whenever you are done and see how long they last that way. then you will know if it is a short if they last a long time.

Hope That Helps,

Ford Mondeo car radio is locked

The dealer needs to help you with this. This is part of the theft protection system built into many new cars. In most cases, only the dealer can turn it back on.
