We have the same set up at the office, There are several ways for you to do it.

Onew would be the optical adjuster just around the lens, its almost the same as adjusting a camera.

Another would be to adjust it by computer, there would be an icon for your graphics card at the lower right hand side of your screen. click on it and do the ffg
for ATI it should be
Click basic then next
choose the quick settings guide
on the left side choose display set up. then adjust it from there.

I'd still recommend the first one since it makes the adjustment faster.

How do I open up a Rank Aldis 2000 Slide Projector to replace a bulb and free a jammed slide?

1. Prepare to turn projector upside down.
2. Unscrew & remove focusing lens.
3. Turn projector upside down & look from the base face of the projector towards the lens aperture - for a slot just under the lid lip. There is a black tab which can be slid with a screwdriver away from the slide path.
4. There's a similar slot at the back under the lid lip and the end of the row of vent holes.
5. After sliding these, the lid is loose - so while holding the lid in place, turn the projector back over onto its feet.
6. The lid now simply lifts off - first at the slides side, hinging away and then off.

Most CMOS web-cams have a focusing ring round the lens which rotates to give you basic adjustment - after that the auto-focus should sharpen up the image

Vt37 will not focus

if the focus ring and zoom does not work, make sure you are within the designed throw distance (2-24 feet). if you are, you have a lens issue and will need to send it in for repair.

Focus problams

if the power focus is not moving, the motor might be siezed and need repair or replacement. also make sure that the resolution matches the source. the projector is designed to have a minimum throw distance of 7.8 feet. if your screen is closer than that, it won't focus. if the motor works, the resolution matches, and the distance is ok, then you need to clean out the dust from the projector with canned air. if that doesn't help, you have an optical engine issue caused by excessive heat. either the light filters or the fly-eye lens are burnt and need replacing.

Focusing into slide transfer box

Yes, use a shorter projection lens. You didn't say what focal length your projection lens is, but Kodak and many of their OEM vendors made very short focal length lenses.
