SOURCE: I have a v-lec Aircon

E3 = Failure of internal temperature sensor.
To fix that you must completely dismantle the internal unit and replace the sensor situated on the evaporator coils. This is quite a complicated job and the spare is extremely hard to find so ask a quote around your local aircon repair shops, you might discover that it will be cheaper just to buy a new one.

What must we do to rectify an F8 fault?

I went to the roof and turned the unit off, waited a minute and turned it back on and the unit worked fine after that. It was a power failure that messed ours up.

How to put my tcl air conditioner on heat

Make sure the unit is a reverse cycle first... It may be a cooling only modle. If its a heat ( reverse cycle ) unit, there will be a symbol which looks like a star, the machine will generally sit with the outside unit running for up to 5 mins before the indoor unit starts. ( Preheat mode) If the unit doesnt start, possibly a failed air or pipe sensor. If it starts but wont heat, possibly a faulty reversing valve coil. Cheers.

Heated air coming out when unit is in Cool Mode

Heat pumps are sometime constructed to "Fail in the heat mode." It could be either the t'stat or the reversing valve. Be sure the t'stat is wired correctly. Usually the"O" terminal is for the reversing valve on the outdoor unit.
