Do a factory reset, you don't say if this is your router or the printer that needs the password, either way look for a way to reset to factory default, on a router it is usually a small pushbutton on the back or bottom (use a ballpoint pen to push the button). on the printer, I can't tell you since I don't know what model it is but this is the only way I know to get back to a start point where you can again put in a new password and etc.
