My toshiba mk 8026gax needs repaired?

Try right clicking My Computer > Properties > Tools > Error Checking > Check Now > place checks in both boxes and Start. Run when not in use. This may take some time run. Plus OS partition will require a reboot to be checked before Windows starts. Hope this does it and not the other.

Toshiba MK8026GAX drive no longer boots win7 pro. I tried to use a USB to SATA/IDE Cable, but it doesn't get recognized. It looks like 44 pins don't connect to anything, is this the power...

Normally with ide to usb cable it should connect to the 44 pins and provide power at the same time. Make sure you are connecting it correctly. Do you hear it spin up at all?

I want to use Toshiba HDD2191 took from old laptop and put as USB box for an external Hard disk, but window vista can't recognize it, shall I search and download disk's driver? tks

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager look through all of your devices if you see a yellow question mark?or exclamation mark ! or red x
right click to reinstall drivers or
if you can see your usb but its not working
ports(com&lpt)right click update driver
just replace the cable of the hard disk, when you plugged the external disk drive you got that windows could recognize the USB device change the cable everything should work fine again, sometimes the wires inside the cable will be damaged due to bending or stretching or placing heavy equipment upon the cable,
check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red-white-green-black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems
click start control panel administrive tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive
hope this helps

I need drivers toshiba hdd2191

Hard drives don't need drivers. All you do is simply plug it in and boot up the system. When you get to the desktop your PC should automatically detect the new drive and configure it for you. You should find it under My Computer.

Recomended replacement HDD for HP Compaq NC6120 (PG825EA#B1A). Original HDD "Toshiba MK8026GAX"

Circuit City currently haas some really great deals on the hitachi 500GB 7200/16 MB 2.5 Mobile Sata HD for approx $90 with no shipping fee. Simply to install and works like a charm. I have replaced about 6 of the original Toshiba hard drives in the past few months and not had a single complaint only complimentary feed back about the Hitachi replacements. Its worth looking into.

Toshiba REGZA 37AV555D smashed screen

Yes the screens can be replaced and if you're half decent with a screw driver (and have the patience of a monk) it's probably worth attempting yourself.

Ball park figure for a new screen is around £150 but I recommend you get on eBay and buy either a used screen or smashed up laptop and take the screen off that. It should work out a much cheaper repair.

Okay, this is unfortunately this is one of those times I call check the obvious first, so even though you have already thought of these things please check them again, first is the monitor plugged in? Is it on? Is the brightness up? Is the cable that connects the monitor to the computer plugged in? (That is usually the blue plug, or a tan plug). If you have verified that all of these things are in there correct place, I will need to know one more thing before I can continue troubleshooting. Is your monitor a Cathode-Ray Tube Monitor (Very big monitor that is usually associates with older computers) or LCD Monitor (Very thin).I will need to know this in order to continue troubleshooting.

Hard drive is not recognize by the computer

Both XP and Vista have this feature that requires that new installs of hardware be certified by Microsoft within anywhere from 30 to 60 days from installation.

Run an install (not a clean install which will wipe your data, mind you, but an install accomplished by installation disks, where you will be asked which kind of install you wish to accomplish, and you will be asked to register your software using your product key)

If you need additional information, I will be more than happy to assist you.

Toshiba A65-S1065 hdd compatibility

The hard drive should work fine thats a standard IDE drive.

For the overheating problem you probably just need to clean the fans with a can of compressed air. That series gets clogged pretty easily. Just blow from the bottom of the laptop where you see the fan towards the outlet in the rear.

You can boot from a USB floppy drive to do a bios upgrade - you can get USB floppies for $20 or so.

Or i have loaded a bios from a bootable CD (you can make one from Roxio or Sonic record now if you make a bootable floppy first - get one Here:
