Maybe you disabled the USB 2.0 support from the BIOS settings. To restore your settings:

  1. Boot your computer.
  2. Press the "Delete" key while booting.
  3. After you enter the BIOS menu look for "Load Optimum Settings" and select it.
  4. Select "OK"
  5. Press the F10 key to store the settings and reboot.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hello. I have a brand new computer with Intel DH67CL motherboard, Intel I5 processor and Antec one hundred case - running XP Professional. Everything seems to work perfectly except the front pannel...

Best starting place I can think of is to see if the affected Motherboard USB Host controllers\Root Hub are listed as operational (or even listed at all) within Device Manager.

There may also be a configuration issue via a jumper on the board or in the bios...

Just some ideas...

Hi, my system not working properly.

I don't think this is a BIOS problem. Sound more like you need to re-load windows and start from scratch. Make sure your USB is turned on in the BIOS.

You can find out the make of your motherboard 2 ways: You can go into the BIOS, when you boot up you have to hit one of the F# keys, it will bring you to your BIOs and you mother board number will be there. Or you can go to the website that made your computer and ask one of the support staff to give you that information. They will ask you for the service tag which is located on the bottom of your pc.
