According to online specs, this is your phones battery:
Stand-by Up to 620 h (2G) / Up to 510 h (3G) Talk time Up to 15 h 30 min (2G) / Up to 7 h 15 min (3G)

4 hours is way too low. You might need to get it to a service center and it should be fine seeing you're still within your warranty period.

I'm guessing from the mention of a Samsung Galaxy cell that you're using your phone's mobile hotspot to provide internet access to a notebook or other PC with Windows. If this is incorrect, please provide additional info as to how you're getting internet access.

A number of things can cause slow internet speeds. 1) distance between you and the cell tower, 2) Data technology 3G, 4G etc., 3) method of connection between your cell phone and PC - obviously a direct connection via USB would be best, but a WiFi or BT should do well enough - if - close by, 4) multiple hotspots in close proximity cany make it impossible for your phone to create a hotspot on a clear channel. Experiment a bit and if still no luck, provided more details about your connection.

First I would try taking the battery in and out, and maybe even blow where the battery connects to the phone. If that doesn't help, you might have to try buy a new battery, if it is the battery that is dead, though it might not be the problem. I would suggest going to someone who can repair your phone, or where you bought it if you have a guarantee.

Sounds as if they are, as you surmise, passing off old stock as new. Return for a full refund including postage, and purchase elsewhere.

You may want to visit Samsung's website to check the warranty coverage of the tablet. Usually, since they are slightly used, it should still be covered by warranty.

Hi there fellow android user. I've noticed the same thing on my HTC wildfire. It seems to overheat whenever I upload photos and use the web browser at the same time. This should be normal since it requires power to be able to perform different tasks at the same time. This usually occurs if you have the GPS, mobile internet or wifi activated and yes it will overheat even when playing games. I've noticed this too on the GALAXY 5 by Samsung which is also an android phone

3 month old new phone. samsung tocco lite. battery problem

1) faulty battery - you'd need to get a replacement from the manufacturer (should be free if still under warranty)
2) when you initially charged the battery after purchasing, if you used it at all before it was completely charged it won't hold a charge.
3) if you live or travel in mountain area, phones lose battery power quicker due to an increase in elevation and distance from nearest tower.
4) if phone has been exposed to moisture or direct sunlight for an extended amount of time, it can damage the phone's ability to hold a charge.

honestly, your best bet is to replace the battery & allow it to charge for 24 hours in "off mode". if the problem persists, then send it in to be repaired.
