The washer is about 15 months old and we have already had the circuit board changed a few months ago and now it will not power on. We checked the outlet and it has plenty of juice. We have tried the breaker, leaving the washer unplugged and not sure what else to do before the repair man gets here next week. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem. I used the unit 2 days ago and no problems- just bragged about the unit yesterday and now today it will not turn on and it is no longer under warranty. I also checked to see if power to plug and it is fine. Any suggestions?

This is a known problem with this model. Call 800-847-9083 and give them the model and serial number to see if your unit is covered by a recall on the control board. I called a few weeks ago and they sent the part and a tech to install it for free on my 3 year old machine.

usually their is a # after the f . when you unplugged did you wait about 5 minutes if not try it, if you did, try again if its an f1 . unplug machine remove 3-4 screws on top of control panel and it will lift up and out, find the grey board their should be a black hose hooked up to the board. pull hose off and blow thru hose and blow thru piece on board that hose goes into . reassemble . plug back in and try it. if works great, if not may need board replaced. hope this works for you
MY KENMORE OASIS HE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! THE CYCLE SIGNAL CONTINUES TO BEEP AT LEAST 25 TIMES, STOPS FOR MAYBE 20 SECONDS, THEN BEEPS AGAIN ABOUT 25 TIMES. THE WASHER WORKS GREAT, BUT IT WILL NOT STOP BEEPING! HELP!!!!!
This is a common problem with the Oasis. The problem is the User Interface Control board behind the control panel. There's a relay on the board that shorts out and causes the washer to randomly (and constantly) beep. This can also occur with the washer turned off. Since the circuit board is not serviceable it is recommended that you replace the control board. Searspartsdirect.com carries replacement parts for your washer. Just type in the model number and search under the console heading for the user interface board. If you are usure which part, I'm talking about, please post back with your model number and I can assist you. I hope this helps.
Jenine, I have run into this problem on a few of the Oasis washers. In talking to the Whirlpool tech rep (Whirlpool makes the Oasis), I was under the understanding that they had some issues with the initial main board supplied in these washers causing the F code. Therefore, in changing this washer out, you probably received one in stock with the same board. What I would do, since it's under warranty is to have the technician order a board from the factory. Any revisions to the new board should be in there. As long as you have both water valves on, no clogged screens on the hoses and 120 volts at the outlet your washer should operate normally.
