You should be able to sign up at www.facebook.com.  It will take you through some account setup options but upon completion you will have full access to Facebook.

How do I set up an acct separate from spouse?

You will want to do this from a PC or laptop computer you feel comfortable using, WITH A KEYBOARD. I do NOT recommend signing up from a phone or tablet.
You will need your own E-Mail address and a telephone number (not necessarily a personal number, it can be your home phone / land line) or Facebook will not let you sign up.

You will also need to make up a password for facebook. WRITE IT DOWN, along with any new e-mail address and e-mail password you get so you can sign up for Facebook. Please do not write these on a post-it note that is on your computer monitor unless you want other people getting into your account. Keep these USER NAMES and PASSWORDS in at least two places that are safe and secure.

Go to www.facebook.com
On the right-hand side of the page, you will see the largest words on the page. "Sign Up"

There are series of boxes for you to fill in with personal information. If you need help, find a young person who uses Facebook, but it is pretty simple if you just fill in the boxes on the screen, and then click the green "SIGN UP" button at the bottom right-hand side of the page.

You DO KNOW that Facebook will sell your personal information to whoever they can, and give it to the government, too.

It is not recommended that you use Facebook for extramarital affairs or criminal activities. You will be found out.

Good Luck!

Can't find box to activate code

How to Get a Confirmation Code on Facebook

When you sign up for a Facebook account, you get the chance to find old friends and make a few new ones. After you create your account, an email is sent to you that contains your confirmation code. You need this confirmation code to verify your account's creation. Once you enter it on Facebook, you are ready to start using the site. If you did not get your confirmation code, Facebook can send it to you again.

Instructions
    • 1

Open an Internet browser. Go to facebook.com. Enter your name, email, password, gender and birthday. Click "Sign Up."

    • 2

Go to the email address that you provided to Facebook. Open the Welcome email from Facebook to find the confirmation code.

  • 3. Check your email program's spam folder if you cannot find the email from Facebook. Some email services automatically see this message as spam.

  • 4

Go to the Confirm Facebook Account page if you still cannot find the email. Enter your email address. Click the drop-down menu and choose "I did not receive a confirmation email."

  • 5

Type more details about the problem, if desired, in the box below. Enter the name that you used to sign up for your account. Enter your birthday and click "Submit." Facebook will resend the email containing the code.

Why my facebook account not login?

Facebook has become a daily or near-daily habit for many people all over the world: People spend more than 700 billion minutes every month on the site, talking to friends, playing games and sharing information. While signing up with Facebook is simple, sometimes accessing an existing account can prove to be problematic. This can occur for a variety of reasons.

    1. Incorrect Password
      • Facebook users who attempt to log into the site with an incorrect password will not be able to access their account until they go through the password recovery process. Users can recover their Facebook password by clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link underneath the password login field. Users must enter their Facebook email address, linked mobile phone number, Facebook username, or their name and a friend's name. Following information entry, users can click the "Search" button to identify their account and have the password reset to a new password of the user's choice.
      Incorrect or Forgotten Email
      • Facebook users who provide an incorrect email address will be unable to log into the site. Since an email address must be entered exactly as it appears on the email account, including any capital or lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols, an incorrect email login may be as simple as an accidental lowercase letter or a forgotten underscore. Facebook users should check their email address to ensure that no mistakes of this nature have occurred before login.
If a user has forgotten the email address used for their Facebook account, Facebook suggests the following options for email address recovery: Try to log in with a username if one was registered, try to log in using a mobile phone number if one is linked to the account, try locating the account on the "Password Reset" page, or ask a Facebook friend to view the account and find the email address listed on the profile. If none of these options work, Facebook suggests using any option on the "Recover Your Account" page.
      Cache Or Cookies Problems
      • Facebook users who are unable to log in may be having a cache or cookies problem. To fix these type issues, users should clear the cache and cookies on the computer or mobile device, enter "m.facebook.com" as a URL rather than using previously established bookmarks or links, then log in as usual.
      Account Disabled by Facebook
      • Facebook seeks to keep its site populated with real people, rather than fake profiles. As Facebook states, "Since accounts that impersonate anyone or anything can damage the integrity of this environment, Facebook doesn't allow fake profiles for celebrities, pets, ideas or inanimate objects." If your profile is deemed to be a potential fake profile, the account may be disabled by Facebook. When this occurs, the user will get a message upon attempted login that provides a link to the "Confirm Your Identity" page. This page provides possible reasons that the account may have been disabled. In some cases, it is due to the user not confirming an identity via a phone number.
I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

I deleted my facebook account on accident

You can only sign up for one account per email address. Facebook sends a notification to every email address associated with an account when someone has been able to register one of the addresses on the account. This happens when a person clicks on a link sent to the email address when creating a new account, or when adding the address to an existing account.
I have checked tons of solution sites and cannot find an answer except to contact Facebook at 650-543-4800 or on info@facebook.com
