as soon as the power button is pressed it immediately turns off.sometimes long enough to see display(momentarally)but doesnt stay on long enough to listen to any sound.when power button is pressed to the time you take your finger away,we are talking milliseconds.

Your amplifier is in a protect mode due to an internal malfunction.

A flashing light code could state what the problem is.

There could also be an internal blown fuse.

it now and then flashes up f 61.and if i hold in the main on button on front of hi-fi,and press various buttons(input selector/settime/band)it tries to start even the fan can be heard starting up momentarally.internal fuse is good continity checked.relay works can be heard switching.im at a complete loss??

With more information as to what type of amp it is, the error code "f 61" could be referenced to what the problem is.

If holding the power button in allows the unit to function, and then releasing the power button causes the unit to power off, the problem could be in your power switch. It could simply be not keeping a connection when depressed. Does the amp function at all (make sound) when the power button is depressed?

My DSL 2730 U ADSL router is getting switched off automatically within seconds, it powered on. No other LED's turning on. Can anyone help to resolve the issue.

I would try a factory reset. If the router is physically powering itself off chances are you have defective router.

may be ur amplifiers any of the output channel have some problem. that's why it goes off after power on, protecting ur speakers. disconnect all the speakers and inputs and then power on it if works check ur speakers and inputs. if not there is fault inside ur amplifier.

Hi my amp when i switch it on within 3 seconds it automatically switches off?

HI...
That's the protect circuit kicking in.
The rec'r will require service. Either a couple of power supply capacitors have gone bad or one of the power amp modules has quit.

Every time i hook up my coustic car amp the radio will turn on with out the radio on

THE GOAL HEAR IS TO DETERMINE IF THE INSTALLATION IS CAUSING YOUR PROTECTION FAULT OR IS IT THE RADIO OR AMPLIFIER ITSELF HAVING INTERNAL DAMAGE. REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THIS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL POWERS UP ON ITS OWN, THEN REMOVE THE REMOTE TERMINAL COMING FROM THE RADIO. IF THE AMPLIFIER SHUTS OFF, THEN YOU MAY HAVE A SHORTED TURN-ON TRANSISTOR WITHIN THE RADIO AND IT IS OUTPUTTING THE DC NEEDED TO TURN THE AMPLIFIER ON. IF YOU REMOVE THE REMOTE TURN-ON FROM THE RADIO TO THE AMPLIFIER AND THE AMPLIFIER STAYS ON, THEN THIS POINTS TO A FAULT WITHIN THE AMPLIFIER AND IT WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. MAKES SURE THAT THE AMPLIFIER AND RADIO GROUNDS ARE 100%. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

1) I turn on the power and place a prerecorded

If it is not a bad soldering joint somewhere, it could be the mode switch. They can sometimes be cleaned with Servisol Video 40, but you might have to replace it.

My kenwood amplifier suddenly off when i turn the volume high?

You need to make sure you ohms are correct if there too low this will happen to protect the amp.

My amplifier

Hi,

The "switched off by itself" is indicative that the auto-protect is acting. Auto protect senses that there is something wrong within the unit and rather than the damage extend to other areas, it simply switches the entire unit off. On some models, this also hold true if there are no or faulty speakers connected to the receiver. In others, this happens when there is no intelligent signal received such as in FM when an antenna would be required.

If you have verified that it is not poor signal, speaker problem, then perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified audio technician since this would involve electronic circuitry/component diagnosis, soldering and the use of a DVM.

hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

The amp is going into "protect mode". This means there is a bad part or parts being detected. Professional service will be needed.
