    as stated above on my orignal comments i ordered a remote control for my tv. i was able to repair my remote control, so i canceled my order with alex.. i have not received my credit on the $16.00. what do i have to do to receive my credit.
    i never recieved any items from your company.

    1. Your question never mentioned a remote control.Your comment "as stated above" is incorrect because it isn't stated above or anywhere else for that matter.. That said you no doubt thought all the stuff you typed in originally would show in your question, not an unreasonable assumption by any means.

    Unfortunately there have been critical comments from the Fixya administrators in the past when it has been highlighted that people's questions consistently miss important information (partly) due to the process which Fixya use for question posting . If the administrators are critical of and warn experts not to make such comments then they (Fixya) must believe that missing information in the questions is entirely due to the lack of awareness of the people like yourself, which is not terribly helpful.

    2. Fixya have not sold you anything, what makes you think they have? Please explain?
    3. Who is Alex? What do you mean by "your company"? Where did you find him and how did you place an order with him?
    4. What you have to do is contact the supplier and ask for your money and if that fails contact your debit or credit card provider, bank or paypal etc.and dispute the transaction, If you paid by western union or some other not traceable/non refundable method then sadly you may not see your money.
    5.Don't forget you entered into a contract to buy your goods, the provider may wish to try to hold you to the contract. You can't blame him if you decided to renege on the contract.
    5a. That said, here in the UK our distance selling regulations allow the return of items from bona fide companies ordered remotely (internet, catalogue etc), are you in the UK. If not then I do not know what the law relating to distance selling is in your country.
    6. That highlights another problem with Fixya in that the questions should allow the poster if they wish, to specify their geographical location, which would be useful in questions where location is important.(such as where can I buy or where can I find etc.) I would hope that fixya would be open to this as a suggestion but they don't seem to accept valid criticism despite overwhelming evidence littered throughout the website that certain improvements would self evidently result in a much higher satisfaction level for both questioners and experts.

    I would wish you good luck but I have a feeling that you need more than just luck.

    Finally a suggestion; why not detail what was wrong with your remote, after all that is in part what fixya is for!

Contact your reseller/vendor. They'll be able to reverse or cancel the charge. If they can't or won't, contact your bank.

How do I pay my on line bill with Metro PCS?


  • Homepage of metro PCs.com selec manage and pay tab
  • Scroll down to the right select payment options and history
  • Log into your account or create new account with your phone number
  • The things u will need for paying online
  • Your MetroPCS phone number
  • The dollar amount you wish to pay
  • The credit/debit number on the front of your card or the 10-digit PIN of your MetroPCS payment card
  • Your CVV2 security code. For MasterCard/Visa, it is located on the back of your credit card in the signature strip. It is at least 3 digits and is always printed AFTER your credit card number. For American Express, the security code is the four digits on the front of your card.
  • Month/Year credit card expiration date

My mastercard was cancelled do to unauthorised use, and since been replaced, I mad monthly payments for austar but they seem to have been removed, and I am not sure how much the payments were so I can


Call the issuer of the MasterCard and have them send you a history of everything that has happened with the account. Then go from there. Also get your records of all the payments you made. Do everything via registered or certified mail. Phone calls don't count.

You can only cancel your transaction if the recipient has not claimed the money. To request a refund, you'll need to contact the recipient of the payment.

To cancel the payment from your bank:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click Unclaimed next to the transaction.
4. Click Cancel Payment.

The payment will be returned to your PayPal account, not your bank account. From there, you can withdraw the money from your PayPal account to your bank account.

To cancel your credit card payment:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the My Account tab.
3. Click Unclaimed next to the transaction.
4. Click Cancel Payment.

Your payment will be returned to your credit card. This can take up to 30 days.
