You can buy another sensor bar at any Gamestop / EB Games / Video game store etc.

Also you can purchase one directly from Nintendo at http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=138704¤cy=USD&catalogId=10001&tranId=0&lastAction=setCurr&storeId=10001&languageId=-1&categoryId=&ddkey=http:SetCurrencyPreference
Or you can call nintendo at 1-800-255-3700

The cost should be less than $10.00

Your in luck your not the only one. It seems to be an occuring problem. You can find them anywhere games are sold typically. Nyko makes a wireless one you can find anywhere. I will provide a link for the one at Amazon.

My control for the wii will bring up the menu but the courser that you use to make selections does not appear.

Make sure the sensor bar is correctly plugged into the Wii, and that the Wii Remote has a clear path to the sensor bar. Move the Wii Remote around, as the positioning of the sensor bar may not be precise. If you are sure everything is how it should be, it may be that your sensor bar is damaged and/or broken. You may have to buy a new one.

My wii isn't showing the wii hand on the menu screen or anywhere else so i can't get to anything, so can you please help me.

Make sure the Wii Sensor Bar is correctly plugged into the Wii, and that the Wii Remote has an unobstructed path to the Sensor Bar. Move the Wii Remote around, as the positioning of the Sensor Bar may not be exact. If you've done all of this and the problem persists, it may be that your Wii Sensor Bar is damaged. You may have to buy a new one.

Hand not showing up on wii screen

Make sure the Wii mote has power. You will also want to verify that the 'sensor bar' is functioning. Take just about any digital camera and point it at the sensor bar while it is on. You should see lights on the ends (their infrared lights that you can't see with the naked eye) if it doesn't work then evaluate it being sure it's plugged in and the cord isn't cut. If it is damaged you will have to go out to the store and buy another.

We have a Nintendo Wii and no the remote controls aren't working with the console. Ihave tried replacing batteries. Do I need new remote controls or a new charger for the controls?

If your remotes are showing power lights at the bottom when you press buttons, then you may have a problem with the sensor bar that receives signals from the remotes.
First, try unplugging and plugging back in the sensor bar to the Wii. If it still doesn't work, the next step would be to replace the sensor bar. You can find them just about anywhere you buy Wii accessories and they are fairly cheap.

I have checked all three inputs into the wii unit; the power cord, the sensor bar cord, and the rca cords (all three) and I still can't get the wii to come on. The wii power cord shares the same plug as...

The sensor bar cable and the RCA cable can be ignored for this problem. In fact, just disconnect them and go with just the power cable. If you are getting power to your Wii, it will display a green power light on the front when you power it on without the sensor bar or the RCA cable plugged in. (It should also display an orange light when it is off, if it is getting power from the outlet.) Take the Wii into another room with working outlets and plug it in. Attempt to power it on with the power button on the Wii, and with a working Wii remote. If neither will power the Wii on, try borrowing a Wii power cable from a friend, or purchase a replacement. If the new power cable does not fix the problem, see if the Wii is still under warranty and send it in for repair.

My wii won't turn on!

Disconnect all the cords from the system. You will need to unplug the A/C adapter/power cord from your wii system and from the electrical socket/or power surge protecter bar. It should not be connected to any thing! Let it sit unconecteded for about ten minutes. This should reset it. Then replug the adapter/power cord back in to electical outlet and to the wii system. Then press the power button on the wii, it should turn back on. Replug the rest of the cords back in for the system. If this does not work I suggest that you buy a new ac adapter/power cord, there could be a short in the one you have before you send in your system to be fixed You can buy a new A/C adapter/power cord on ebay for about 5 to 10 dollars, usually with free shipping.

Do I need another wii sensor bar for each

no, up to four wii remotes work on 1 sensor bar, but only 1 sensor bar can be used at a time

any sensor bars that you buy at the store useally work up to greater distances than the one that came with the wii

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I've had this same problem. Remove the batteries from the remotes. Then disconnct the power cord from the back of the Wii and disconnect the power cord from the wall. Let it sit for 5 min. Double check that the sensor bar is plugged into the Wii and check the cord for any breaks that might stop the signal. After you are sure that the sensor bar is connected and the 5 min. have gone by plug it all back in, install your batteries and re-sync it.

Sensor Bar

well i don't know about australia, but you can easily get sensor bars on the internet (heavy shipping costs?). if that isn't possible try a store that sells games like walmart. along with video games there should be a few accessories on the shelf.
