Qsc amp no sound 0utput

With amps loss of sound is mostly connected with the devices found on the heat sink. Some amps have transistors for each channel. Others have a single IC often marked with the letters STK. If the amp uses the IC then these can loose one channel then the other. Replacment is the only cure.

Does it do it with nothing connected to the inputs and outputs? If yes, something internal.. anything loose in there (is it moved alot and something could have fallen inside of it)

Question similar to ...connect to home theater... What kind of fan noise do these amps (QSC MX 1500a) have if using in a home theater or stereo system in the typical room?

Hi
I work with these amplifiers every day and i can tell you that they not made with quietness in mind.
They are mainly used in a club/disco environment and often mounted in a equipment rack hidden in a closet. Excellent/tough amplifiers if you want power and clean sound ,but
You may find their noise level uncomfortable in a living room.
Hope this help Merry Christmas

My QSC GX3 has a red light that turned on (on the front panel). The channel is not working. Is this a fuse or something else?

You should check the speaker set, maybe it's short circuit.
Try remove the speaker set from the unit, than switch on the amplifier again, if the red light still on, surely the final drive is damages( Transistors or IC's).
Replace it with new ones.

The weaker signal caused by leaky capacitor and change value resistor is need to replaced with a new one so it's works normal again. Your tech did is re soldering the cold solder he did not replaced some defected parts.

Hope it may help you;
