Re: after descaling, it still says descale how do I reset...
When it gets to descale, it says add solution.I could not find where to get any so.I added about 1/2 cup vinegar to the water tank and filled it up. Make sure to put a big bowl under the spout to collect all the water It has to go through descale cycle 4 times, (don't let the water run out) then it will say pour in pure water, so empty the water/vinegar and add water only, then it has to run through this cycle 4 times. It takes approx 30 min or more to do this, then it will say READY.

I think that you button doesn't make a good contact. Try to press it with different pressure and on different sides slightly off center to give this a try - it may be just a bad contact that is enough to change the bean setting but not enough to reset the warning indicator through a long press. Let me know how it goes ... they may have changed the button that needs to be pressed as well (does your manual say anything different?)
Auto descale: To automatically descale your machine, press the scoop button and hold it down until you enter the menu. Use the arrows on the left to scroll down until you come to "Descale". Press enter and the machine will enter the mode to descale your machine. The process takes about 45 minutes. You don't have to do a thing except mix a full water tank with descaling solution and have a container under the steam wand when your start. If you have a cappuccinonatori on your machine you will need two containers. To start the descaling process simply turn the steam knob. When the process is over your machine will say "descale finished". Remove your water tank and rinse it out. Refill it with fresh water. Replace on the machine and close the steam knob then open it again to rinse your machine. When its done exit the descale mode and go to the "Reset descale" just under it and enter. Choose "Yes" and push the enter button to accept. It will tell you when it needs to be descaled again.
If you want to make your machine last a long time, go to the water hardness in the menu and change your water hardness to the #4 and always push the enter button if you want to make your changes permanent. If you don't, no changes will be made and it will still be the same when you exit.
Ok first check if the machine is in greenlight state when you press and hold the water button, as it will not work when the red exclamation mark blinking.
also check if the button work at all flipping back and forth to hot water and steam.
I have never had this problem that it dident work.
But remember this, you dont have to do the descaling again as that has nothing to do with the reset.
You can even reset the descaling alarm with out having done the descaling.
If that for some reason wouldent work I would think its the CPU card is not working.
the machine still work fine still descaling time with descaler not vinegar .vinegar no good descaler melt calcium follow what mark on the product to descale to reset the light i think you have to hold the steam button for 10 second thanks for using fixya pierre p.s im gonna double check how to reset the light ill get back to you
descale you need to use special descaler not vinegar vinegar is not strong enought and remove calcium in little piece that might block elsewhere descaler melt calcium 1 part water 1 part descaler fill the water container start machine open side valve for few second turn it off wait 15 minute repeat untill empty after rince very good that stuff is corosif go in thr menue reset the descaler mode and voila !
