Hi! I backed up a BB8900. Then, after attempting (I wasn't successful as there wasn't enough memory present to complete it), among other things, a System Upgrade from v4.6 to v5.0 on a Blackberry 8900, I keep coming up with two messages uncaught exception application registry wait.for (0xd4a3067f1f92c0a5) timeout and uncaught exception java.lang I have no idea what they mean and how I am to solve them as the phone doesn't seem to ever connect to my Desktop Software. I know there is nothing wrong with the Desktop Software as I have connected and successfully backed up another BB after trying the 8900. Is there a solution? Is there anyway I can restore the backup I did without using the Desktop Software? Is there anyway I can update the op system without the Desktop Software? ANY quick, thorough solutions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Hi,

When attempting to send messages from the BlackBerry device, the BlackBerry device user receives the following Java error called uncaught exception java.lang.illegal argument exception:

To over come this error you need to complete the following steps:
First, perform a full backup of the BlackBerry device data:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer using the USB cable.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and then double-click Backup and Restore.
  3. Click Backup.
  4. Save the backup file.
Run the application loader tool and erase all data on the BlackBerry device:
  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, double-click Application Loader.
  2. Click Next.
  3. On the Device Security Password screen, type the BlackBerry device security password, and then click Next.
  4. On the Device Application Selection screen, click Next.
  5. On the Completing the Application Loader Wizard screen, click Advanced. The Device Data Preservation screen is displayed.
  6. Select the Erase all application data check box, and then click Next.
  7. Select Do not automatically back up and restore the device application data during the loading process, and then click Next.
  8. Click Finish. The BlackBerry device resets. This might take several minutes.

Hi,
When attempting to access a corrupted call list database on the BlackBerry smartphone, the Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException error message appears:

Isolate the corrupt data by turning on advanced logging for Intellisync.

  1. Turn on advanced logging for Intellisync.
  2. Once the corrupt data entry has been isolated, delete it from the desktop email client and the BlackBerry smartphone.

Loosen the chain enough so that you can remove it from the sprocket above the motor unit. With the door closed run the motor until the sprocket turns clockwise and stops. With everything attached replace and tighten the chain. Some adjusting of the up and down limits will probably be required.

BB8900 can hear the caller but they can hear me


Hello,

The problem with your BB8900 is that the mouth piece on your phone is bad, that is why people you are calling or people calling cannot hear you.

All you need to do is to get the mouth piece replaced in other for people to hear what you are saying when calling.

Change the mouth piece as advice and you will see that people will now hear you when you are talking with your BB8900.

Meanwhile, i advice you to get hands free and be using it pending the time you will fix your phone.

Hi, my LG KC 550 always show that there's not enough memory for sending MMS or email. When i check back the memory status, everything is fine apart from system memory under common memory! what can i do ?


You should try switching the language on ur cellphone and then try sending a MMS. Afterward, you can switch it back to English and attempt to send a MMS. At this time, the flashing icon should disappear :) Hope this helps!!!

Lap top will not do anything


Attempt to boot the machine into Safe-Mode.

Continuously hitting F8 while booting will get you to the Boot Option Menu.

If you can successfully boot into Safe mode, this may be enough to put things back together.

Attempt Safe-Mode and if successful try a normal boot.

Start from there and let us know the results.

If you press and hold down the "menu" button scroll down to the FORMAT selection and press enter. This will reformat the device.
I had the same problem - I think it arose after disconnecting the IC Recorder when it became unresponsive with the computer.
Make sure you transfer all your files first to a computer or back up source.

Not enough space or memory to run Word 12.0


Could you please let me know what operating system present on your PC?

Antivirus/Firewall and other spyware/adware utilities present on your PC.

I would suggest you to make a complete uninstall of MS OFFICE (including all components of Ms Office 2003 & Ms Office 2007 if present anyone ) then go for fresh installation of MS Office 2007.

Let me know if the problem still persists. Dont vote till you get the solution for this problem.
