Vacuums need cleaning too. Remove the hose and check for the noise it may be a partial blockage in the hose, if not replace the hepa filter. Problems with belt come with the brush not turning or a bad smell. If it is a belt problem it is usually apparent when you turn it over. You may have to remove 4 or lass screws to get to the problem.

All of these vacuums capture the motor assembly between two plastic case halves, or are held in place by a band. Take out the phillips screws (sometimes the screws are under decorative plugs to hide them) and carefully pull one half off. You'll have a lot of taking apart to do, but if you actually got a replacement motor, it will be worth it.
