Metal spring has broken under my gas pedal

The spring under my gas pedal has broken on my red momo force wheel. Does anyone know where I can get these springs at to replace the broken one? thanks, Adam

Put the Brake spring under the gas pedal (think its the same part) and then get a "Squash Ball" (small hollow ball for the game Squash) and tape that in place of the spring, you brake pedal will now feel more firm like a real car....

The spring for the brake is smaller than the accelertor one (15mm vs 17.25mm by my measurement with a vernier just now).

So an option might be to file or cut down the width of the spring mount under the back of the accelerator pedal. Guess I'll be looking into that ... and then proceeding to the squash ball mod for the brake.

I have TWO Logi Momos, both have broken or dropped springs for the shift lever. Is there a tutorial for this repair? Can I use the parts from one to fix the other?

You can definitely use parts from one to fix the other. Just use screw driver to open them up, swap out the broken parts and you're done.

MOMO's are notorious for the potentiometers going bad. There used to be a place that sold replacements, check www.digikey.com I think the top kit is for momo black, and the bottom one for momo red. I think they were zero balance when I checked.

963260-KIT-ND Q1465369 MOMO FORCE REPAIR KIT

as a last resort, take the information for the digikey potiometers to Radioshack and see if they can order you some.

Logitech "RED" Momo

You're right about Logi not providing spares. If you're out of warranty, you are out of luck. If you have the cash I would recommend the G25. Great wheel and the pedals are way better than previous wheels (momo red included) If you want to sell your broken momo, let me know ;) I'm looking for one to build a wheel set up.
