Does not cool the coach enough

It is one of a couple of things. Either the air conditioner4 needs recharging, the compressor is not coming on, or the ac unit is to small for the coach.

I have 2 Coleman roof ac's on my 34' coach that are ducted. The fans work and the compressors come on but the air isn't cold enough to cool the coach. The front unit temp only goes to 70 deg....

Are there any filters? If they are clogged the unit will not work properly and the temp will not drop as much as it should as it cannot absorb the air in the trailer or room.

I have a 2001 Monaco Diplomat. In the morning before it is really hot out yet my roof air will not start even though it is set at a temperature that should cause the Ac to operate. When it does start it...

As these can be had for 650 bucks with searching online, putting parts on a 10 yr old unit quickly becomes a poor finacial move and even if rectified, leaxes you with an old unit. The thermal overload may be opening, some are servicable. you really need to see the reason its stopping , and whats stopping it all? or just compressor? is the power interrupted? is the compressor pulling amperage when off/ is it shorted to ground? a start assist device, a KICKSTART brand hard start kit is best shot or new ones best move, the kickstarts the strongest help you can add to it now. itr tired likely.

9,200 btu Coleman AC in winnebego era cannot adequatly cool coach. Can I install a 13,500 btu without any modifcations to the electric

As I understand your question, you want to replace your 9200 BTU air conditioner with a 13500 BTU.

If this was all there was to it, I'd say no problem, but I would be doing you a disservice. I work in a camping resort and I encounter troubles with guest's AC all the time. And this may not apply to you ... but here is the problem I see. Many coaches come into our park loaded with equipment from the manufacturer and the owners pile on more. Many are equipped with a 30 amp service. Thirty amps of power is one TV, one Microwave and incidentals - OR - One TV, one A/C and incidentals. I'm my experience, it is pushing the envelope to try to run a TV, AC and Microwave and incidentals, 30 amps will simply not support this load.

If yours is a 50 amp service, you probably will not have this trouble.

If your AC is on a dedicated branch circuit in your coach, it is probably a 15 amp. A 13500 BTU unit should also run on a 15 amp circuit.

When my wife and I encountered the inadequate AC problem you describe, we made the coach "smaller". We closed off the bedroom and bathroom and the AC was able to make us comfortable on those few very hot days.

I appreciate the opportunity to address your concern and I hope my response is helpful for you.

Although tradesman moterhomde plugged into electrical, engine's battery loses power, any suggestions as to why?

I am assuning you have an operation (read "working") isolation switch in your system. Such a switch (mechanical or electronic) will isolate your coach battery from your chassis batery. If you dont drive the vehicle often, it is possible for your chassis battery to go dead while the coach battery remains in tip top condition. (Coach is always on "charge". Im going to guess your chassis battery is not new.

Of course when you drive, you charge the chassis battery and in some installations, you also charge the coach battery. You dont want the coach battery to run the chassis - think about it and you will understand why. Other installations provide a switch that will allow you to start the vehicle with the coach battery if required.

If you dont go out often, consider a small trickle charger for your chassis battery. Since you keep your motor home plugged in, you have 110 V AC power available in the coach. Just plug your small trickle charger into the motor home and charge your chassis battery. Remember to disconnect the charger before you start the coach.

Safe travels. Let me know if this helps.

No 12v house battery power

The coach has a box Circuit Breaker that includes a manual switch or it may be next to it. I do not know if your coach setup for auto but I believe it is manual.. The way it works is one side for 12v the other side for AC and the middle for Off…They are all different so do not worry. They work the same…
When you get the AC working and shut the gen switch the breaker to the other side and see if you get electric… reset all your breakers and put them ON one by one and see if that work if not let me know and I will post step by step of how to test the inverter…If that works for you please do not forget to rate the service so we can improve on it, Hope this work for you

Dou Therm Brisk Air not running

Turn the ac off go up top the coach and remove the cover. Look for fan blockage, Wasp, mud dauber etc. Caution if it is wasps they will chase you off the end of your coach. Take some spray with you. If there is no blockage the fan motor is toast.
