Question about Fisher and Paykel AeroTech Double - OD302M Electric Oven

1 Answer

OD302 double oven is very slow to heat up to temp after a self clean and power failure. Self clean was complete and power failure happened the next day. Reset clock and both top and bottom oven take forever to come up to preset temp. Broil elements heat, just do not glow, bottom element (concealed) heats just not real fast, the fan coils don't seem to heat. Please HELP!

Hello, and sorry to read about your problem.
if you have tried to re-power the unit, and still have the same issue, you then have a general main board failure,
you may want to contact a service company. it takes experience to know which part is defective.

I tried to help you. Please help me and vote/rate my response thanks.

Whirlpool 27" wall oven. no heat after self clean

Self cleaning features are not recommended by most appliance technicians. The ovens are not constructed satisfactorily to expel the 1000 degree heat, Therefore the thermal fuses blow as well as other parts failures.
Remove the oven. Remove the rear panel. Replace the thermal fuse in the back of the oven. Use Easy Off next time.
