Question about Creative Labs Zen Stone Plus MP3 Player
Hi, Gud day!
I was charging my Creative Zen V-Plus with my pc, after quite some time, i checked if it was already full... but when I saw it, it was not charging, it says low battery. when i tried to charge it again by plugging it at another usb port, it will show the sign that it was charging for a second and the image will be almost full but then it will turn into low battery, the red one, a second after...
i could not turn it on again anymore... my computer wont read it either, it turns on but turns off again immediately...
Thank you so much.
When I Connect my Mp3 into the PC, it will recognize it, but the mp3 will charge for a short time, then It will stop charging, untill I re-connect it again, and wait for another short time, then the same.
I Hope that I will get benefit, espically by telling me how can I make a new software for my Mp3.
My vision m wont charge. and i just tried to click that button and pluged it back in and its still not working :''''''[

I had the same problem. You must reset the player. Here's how: on the left side, under the power/lock switch, there's a small (less than 1mm diameter) hole. You must press a button inside this hole. You can do this with a thin needle, wire etc. Don't push hard, you will feel the button click. Afterwards, you may need to recharge the player. As soon as you connect the charging cable, it should work.

I got mine back with help from Creative tech. support as follows:
I understand that you are unable to power on your Zen V Plus 2GB player.
I apologize for the inconvenience the product is causing you but please
proceed below for steps to help you fix it.
Please verify that the player is not on screensaver mode by pressing any
If you are facing the player, please look over to the left hand side of
the player. The reset hole will be there. Please push that hole using an
object tiny enough to fit in. Please perform this step while the player
is disconnected from a pc and check for any reactions on the display
screen of the player. Verify if it switches on.
If you do not get any reaction, please connect the player to a rear usb
port of a pc then wait for about 10 seconds before
pressing the reset hole. Wait for another 15 seconds before checking the
player display for any reaction. If possible,
try multiple usb ports and computers. Verify if it switches on.
Try using another usb cable as well if you have a spare.
If you only get the battery charging icon, allow the player to charge
for at least 6 hours. During this time, if charging from a USB port,
please ensure your PC does not enter a power conservation mode (Standby,
Sleep, or Hibernate) as this will interrupt charging.
Also, please follow these instructions if you are using Windows XP (home
1. right click the "my computer" icon on your desktop, click
2. click the "hardware" tab
3. click on "device manager"
4. click on the "+" sign beside "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
5. right click on "USB Root Hub", click 'properties"
6. click on "power management" tab
7. UNCHECK the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to
8. please repeat steps 5 to 7 for all the other USB Root Hub on the list
This will ensure that there is continuous power supplied to the usb
ports of your computer.
