Question about Acer Aspire 6530-5143 Notebook PC
You should not post replies to questions you do not know the answer to. This laptop has the power jack separate from the motherboard and just plugs into the board. No soldering necessary. The hardest part is taking the system apart and putting it back together. Search Ebay and google for the part you need and order it with the cable.

Here below is a laptop dc jack repair guide, hope it would help.
But this instructions is only for people experienced with soldering and repairing computers. If you don't feel comfortable doing this job, please do not open the laptop or you can permanently damage your computer. Take your laptop to a professional repair shop instead.

It's called a the DC Jack, and you would have to take the laptop completely apart so you can get to the motherboard then De solder the old jack from the motherboard then solder the new jack on the motherboard. Finally you will have to re-assemble the laptop. If you are not comfortable doing this than I suggest you take it to a local repair shop for repairs.
