I can't seem to locate a replacement battery that fits

Be very carefull of aftermarket batteries (cheap), get one from a reputable dealer. If you have a issue you can return it try here: Some cheap Replacement batteries at best will not work properly/long, at worst can be a fire hazzard. Never leave a laptop with battery inserted unattended.

How do i remove or reset password for bios on samsung nootbook

Removing the CMOS battery like the one shown in the picture to the right will cause the system to loose all CMOS settings including the password. To do this locate and remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard for at least five-minutes. After this has been done put the battery back into the computer and turn it back on

If this does not help try these other methods

Can i use ddr2 800 2GB on N150plus

Dear Urmsar,
Unfortunately you can't use DDR2 Ram on your laptop, There are 3 models available on samsung N150P Netbook series , three of them supporting DDR3 Ram only, It is the latest technology, by using DDR3 you can occupy 8GB Ran on a single slot... DDR2 supports maximum of 2GB per Ram..

Thank you

Which is the correct DDR2 or DDR3 How many pin connections are required

Both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM modules have 240 pins, BUT the notch in the memory modules are slightly different positions in the DDR2 and DDR3.
The notch in the DDR2 is in the middle of the RAM module BUT the notch in the DDR3 is offset slightly off the middle of the RAM module.

Samsung n150 plus is expandable to how many memory?

The Samsung N150 Laptop comes installed with 1GB of Memory and can be upgraded to a maximum of 2GB Memory. This computer has 1 (one) SO-DIMM memory slot, so to upgrade to 2GB of RAM, you will need to replace the installed RAM module with a single 2GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667 200pin SDRAM SO-DIMM memory module.

Want to add ddr3 memory to my p5qc board

The motherboard supports DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz or DDR2 memory 1066/800/667 MHz to meet the higher bandwidth requirements of the latest operation system, 3D graphics, multimedia, and Internet applications. The dual-channel DDR3/DDR2 architecture doubles the bandwidth of your system memory to boost system performance, eliminating bottlenecks with peak bandwidths of up to 19.2 GB/s.
DDR2 1066MHz DIMMs work only on the black slots for one DIMM per channel
2 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR3 1333/1066/800 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory 4 x DIMM, max. 16GB, DDR2 1066 / 800 / 667 MHz, Non-ECC, Un-buffered memory Dual channel memory architecture When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended DDR2 1066MHz DIMMs work only on the black slots for one DIMM per channel. Ensure to install the DDR2 1066MHz DIMMs ONLY on the BLACK slots! Refer to or this user manual for the Memory QVL(Qualified Vendors Lists). When installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.
Hope this helps

Removed 256 meg card, installed ddr2 1gig card. Computer would not start.

Old system!
Up to 2GB DDR are fine, but you tried DDR2, which it can't handle. Get the right kind of memory (just DDR, not DDR2 or DDR3) and see if they don't get along better.

"Memory Turbo Card must be installed with either DDR2 or DDR3"!

It is not DDR2 or DDR3, it is new memory technology developed by Intel which is a flash memory module which reduces the time it takes for a computer to power up, access programs, and write data to the hard drive.

Black screen on Boot

1. Check the memory modules are correctly installed.
2. Check that all the installed ram is DDR3 - this board will not accept DDR2 andDDR3 together.
3. If you have more than one memory module remove one and try booting. If all is ok try just the other one.
4.Try with DDR2 memory
