You need to convert the video to mp4 so that your player can play it, and just use this one to easily play the video on your player.

You need a video converter. iOrgSoft Video Converter enables you to convert almost any video formats at will, whether it is most popular ones like avi, wmv, 3gp, flv, 3g2, mov, vob, mpg, asf, swf, rm , rmvb, mkv, tod, mod, DivX, Xvid, H.264, or less commonly used ones like .Mod and .Tod, video converter for Mac just can handle everything for you. You will be surprised at what a real piece of work it is. Not only convert file fast and smoothly, but also the high quality of the output file kept from the original sources.

What video format do your player support? I think you need a third party program to help you to transcode videos first before opening in your player. Try Brorsoft Video Converter which can support various common videos, like MOV, MKV, MTS, MXF, MP4.etc

What is a invalid file format

This may indicate that the file extension is not recognizable.this may be a flac or orb file instead of the usual file formats associated with audio codecs these will need to converted into mp3 or wav etc. by using an audio convertor program...freeware can be found online.if your media plays only mp3 and you try playing different file extension you will get error.so you need to convert all your music into mp3.Itunes has a built in cd ripper to convert into most formats.

Basic Information:

i) try to choose  right burner for eg: Nero CD/DVD Burner

ii) try to choose the right format,

for eg: MP3/MP4/ Audio Songs will come under Audio format
in such case select "Audio CD/DVD format" in Nero CD/DVD Burner

for eg: .DAT/MPEG/MP4/Video will come under Video format

in such case select "Video CD/DVD format" in Nero CD/DVD Burner

for eg: "DATA CD format" is only storing some data on CD/DVD iresspective whether it is                            Videofile or Audio file,

these "DATA CD formated" CD/DVD when played in DVD Player will play only Audio files
                but no Video Files

Videos....plezzz help me!!!

I had the same problem, I transfered files already in AVI format and the player did not recognize them. I used the sofware that came with the player (AVI Converter, I think) to convert my videos to AVI and I selected that the program copy them directly to player ( the player has to be connected to your computer while converting the files, obviously) instead of doing it manually. At least that worked for me. Another option is to convert the videos to flash format (.flv). I don't know why the player reads those kind of files (as per the manual and GPX web page it's supposed to read AVI only) but it works. Hope this helps.
