SOURCE: Unlock multi region code for sony bdp-s357
As with many Sony models, there is no way to hack the region coding on your model, sorry. This applies to both the DVD and Blu-Ray region coding.
But if you have a Blu-Ray drive fitted to your pc, you can use a program like DVD Fab to make a back-up copy of your Blu-Ray disc which strips out all of the region coding and copy protection. The copied disc can then be used on any machine.
Note that this may be illegal in your country; it's up to you to ensure local legal compliance. It's also illegal in the UK where I live, but in practice there's no problem as long as I don't use the software to distribute unlicensed copies and provided that I destroy/delete copies when I dispose of the original disc.

Hello,
the problem is either from your firmware or laser(lens) of the player.
First, do a firmware update on your player and if that doesn't solve the problem, then maybe the laser (lens) is weak or dirty, that's why it cannot play or discs.
Get a lens cleaner and use it to cleans the lens and if the lens refuse to play all discs, then maybe you need to replace the lens.
Good luck.
