Question about Kenmore 40494 / 40495 / 40499 Electric Single Oven
I have a Kenmore convection oven (NOT a microwave) that has a flat floor (can't see heating coils).
Just like traditional ovens in the past, I covered the bottom of the oven floor with 2 layers of aluminum foil.
When I was baking a casserole on the bottom rack, some of the tinfoil on the floor of the oven stuck to the floor.
Some of it easily peeled away, but some is still VERY stuck/fused (picture trying to remove old wallpaper that comes off in pieces).
Do you have ANY suggestions as to how I can get the tinfoil removed?
Someone has suggested applying WD-40 or an oven degreaser and letting that set before gently scrubbing off with non-abrasive scrubber.
Have you tried warming the oven up first on low temp and then gently applying a paint scaper
mr muscle have a good degreaser but it can be strong in fumes read the tin first
