Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing ? Following wiring diagrams , checking B+ voltage at different points along the circuit . Did you use a interface module with the aftermarket radio ? The GM radio is hooked to the class 2 serial data network . Your best bet , take it to a qualified installer .

First things first if you put the wrong RAM in it would still turn on but it would beep at you. If the front switch isn't sticking I doubt it is that. You can test it by following the wires from the switch to the motherboard, disconnect the wires and use a flat screw driver to make contact between the two pins or if more pins make contact between the + and -, if it turns on then yeah it's the switch. The small 3v battery is only used to save your BIOS settings.
Lastly, yes it most likely is the power supply. I'd really just start with the power supply as it is the most common component to go out.

Pc will not turn on, blue light flashes on power button and fans turn for a sec. then nothing

The power pack has failed and needs to be replaced, they are easy to change, take the side panel of the tower, there should be 2-3 screws at the back holding in place, the power supply will be in the top corner with a bunch of wires coming out of it, unplug all wires from the motherboard and peripherals inside the pc ensuring you write down where each one goes.
There are 4 screws holding the power supply in place, they are placed at the back of the tower, near the top, undo the screws and the power supply should just pull out of the case, take the power supply to your local store and get a replacement, normally they are priced between ?15-50, put the new one back in the same way and try to boot the pc, it should now be fine.
hope this helps.

Psu blinking green light, no power

I read all the solutions, followed the manufacturers instructions exactly, replaced the cmos battery and nothing solved the problem (blinking light on PSU after a power failure and no startup at all). I had ascertained that the PSU was intact by disconnecting all the PSU connections to drives and motherboard at which time the PSU LED stopped blinking and was constantly on.
Just before throwing my computer away I decided to follow the instructions listed by "guest" to unplug the power to the motherboard and then with the power supply back on to plug the cables back into the motherboard. No only did sparks not fly, but it started up and ran perfectly! Many thanks to "guest."

Beep code and nothing on monitor

You may be correct about it being a power supply but you need to know the manufacturer of the mother board and check out their website for error codes. Please list your motherboard name and model. A power supply is cheap enough to test your system and you can return it if it does not work. They are real easy to replace too. Unplug your system and leave unplugged for half hour before opening your system. There are 2- 4 screws on the back upper part of your computer and a harness connector that the power to the motherboard goes. It's a good idea to bring in your old power supply to match it with a new one.
