I need the code number of tv to enable me to use sky remote control

Please try 0863 for Hyundai Televisions To program your Sky remote control using the 4 digit code
  1. Switch on the TV set
  2. Press the TV button on the Sky Remote
  3. Hold down the Select and Red buttons for 2-3 seconds until the LED blinks twice
  4. Press the TV button on the Sky Remote again
  5. Enter 0863
  6. The LED should blink twice, if not recheck the 4 digit code used and go back to 1
  7. Press the standby button on the Sky Remote (The TV should go to standby)
  8. Press the Select button to store

If the TV does not go into standby press the TV button then the standby button, then TV then standby, keep repeating this until successful. This will scan the codes used for a particular make of TV.

Please keep me posted.

Thanks.

I have a Tosumi television connected to standard sky box but every time I turn on television it goes to another channel rather than the connected av channel. Also when I try to use sky controller to...

Hi,

Always turn on your TV with the Sky box (or any other external device you want to use) turned OFF. When the TV is on, turn on the Sky box by pressing the "Sky" button at the top centre of the remote control. This will ensure that the TV recognises that there is an external input and it will automatically switch to the correct channel. It also ensures that your Sky remote control isn't in TV mode.

If you switch your TV to standby using the Sky remote after watching, the next time you use the Sky remote, it's still in TV mode. This is why your TV channels are jumping around.

Hope this helps.

Unabel to use sky control for sound

You have to programme the correct code for your TV into the Sky remote.

You can get these via "Sky Active" (if your box is connected to a phone line) or from the Sky website, or google search: "Sky remote codes".

However your sky remote wont necessarily control more recent televisions unless you have a REV8 remote control. You can check this by taking the battery cover off your remote and looking at the sticker inside. If it says RC1600/00 you're probably not going to be able to control your TV. REV4 and REV6 are more likely to work - but not guaranteed. If it says REV8, then you are probably not using the correct code or you're not programming the remote correctly.

If you have REV8, the correct code for your TV (according to Sky) is: 0678 or 1678 or 0254

Sky remote code finder page is here: http://sky.uebv.com/

Sky guide to finding your remote code and programming remotes is here:

Lcd tv 19lg30 have you got the number for the remote ie.code.So i can also use my sky remote. as my tv handset no longer workes.

turn on your tv, on the sky remote press tv and then red and select at the same time, the red light should flash and then press tv then standby then tv then standby, do this until your tv turns to standby, once this has happend press select again and it should flash, this is then tuned to your tv, if not in your search engine type in sky remote codes for your make and model and then press tv red and select at same time enter the code and then select and see if that works, but the first optioon is the easiest, good luck
