Question about Diigo Toolbar

Installed Diigo toolbar on IE7, but when I try to open/activate the toolbaar IE starts trying to recover some page. Something to do with a script? Already uninstalled and tried again; and tried restarting PC and then installing again form beginning - same problem.

This appears to be a known issue. My recommendation would be to update to Internet Explorer 9 which was released today. Internet Explorer 7 is highly unstable and I update it on my client's computers every chance I get. If you can't get Internet Explorer 9 because you are running XP, then I've included a download for Internet Explorer 8.

You may not have Internet Explorer as your default browser but it is coded with Yahoo Messenger
For this reason you must keep it up to date and the support software as well. You do not have to set it as default but you need to keep it clean.

To enable scripting:Internet Explorer8

Click "Tools"
Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX.controls marked safe for scripting"- enable
Scroll down to "Scripting - Active scripting" - enable
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets" - enable
Click OK
Click OK
Restart IE

Finally make sure you clean your browsers on a regular basis
Download 'ccleaner' and use it daily. Run it through a couple of times,using the factory settings and the 'Analyze' control to view the files offered for deletion - Use the 'Run Cleaner control to delete them.
Run the 'Registry' from the left hand toolbar but 'Save' any changes after opting to 'repair' errors.Never make changes to your Registry without saving the information.




Click Start menu, Click Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes. Provide the windows cd when prompted. Restart the PC. The issues are becoz of corrupted windows files.

-> select internet(global icon)
->click on Custom Level button.
-> choose scritping
-> enble all script type

Internet Explorer error reading scripts on this page


On internet page, go to intrenet option and click on restore default, or if you rmember the last time your computer work perfectly, then go to START-PROGRAMS-ACCESSORIES-SYSTEM TOOLS-SYSTEM RESTORE.

Cannot use ie7 but at the same time commet bird running fine


Do you have access to another computer? I would advise downloading ie7 and burn it to a disk. Then install it onto the computer with the problem. Registry Cleaner will delete things it shouldn't so, I advise on just reinstalling IE7.

IE 7 problems with missing tabs,not being able to download


This fix works for both missing IE7 tabs and missing Desktop icon in Display Properties. Good luck!

Open up a command prompt (cmd.exe from "run") and enter the following;

REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /V ClassicShell /T REG_DWORD /F /D 0

This should sort out your problem.
