Can you provide a model number (usually on the bottom of the laptop or in plain view when open) and the manufacture?

  • dave4597 Mar 15, 2011

Not sure what laptop we're talking about here, but the short answer is yes most laptops can be connected to lcd tv's, it just depends on what kind of outputs your laptop has and what kind of inputs your tv has.

You should definately use the VGA connection if your TV supports it. You'll get much better resolution than you would from the S-Video.

You didn't indicate the model of the laptop, but if you have a connector female with 15 pin organized on 3 lines or a yellow RCA connector, yes you can, otherwise no.

You'll need to make sure that your laptop & LCD TV have an HDMI port. If they both do, simply connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your LCD TV and make sure the input on the LCD TV is set to receive A/V from the HDMI port.

Connecting my laptop to my samsung lcd tv.

If you know how to let it work with an LCD or DLP projector then all you have to do is set the selector of the your LCD TV to the RGB or computer input. If not, then you have to hit the function key in order to activate the secondary port for the external display of your laptop.

How to connect my esprimo laptop to my lcd tv

you would be able to connect the laptop to the lcd if the laptop has an extra vga port. if it has the port make sure the tv has the same port and if it does connect them together and put the lcd tv on inut mode for that (ex. PC input, VGA Input, RGB input). you might have to go into the display properties in the control panel and make sure you enable it for 2 displays(1 for the laptop mainscreen, and 1 for the lcd tv).
