Do you mean your house loses power? if so this is occuring because of a short, does it happen in every outlet or just in one, if this is the case then there is something shorting in the outlet.

If it happens in every outlet then the TV unit is shorting, check the fuse in the plug is the correct value and if you are still unsuccessful take the tv to a repair shop.

I turned my hitachi tv on and i have no sound or picture what can i do ?

Are you getting the red led light? If not, please check the power outlet for any loose contacts. Try the TV on some other power outlet. If the TV does not work still, cool it off for 48 hours, after removing the plug and retry.

Hitachi p50h401 wont turn on no power at all

This problem is mainly on the fuse or in the power supply. Just check first the power chord if they are plug properly to the outlet and to the TV...
If they are properly place but still no picture. It's time for you to call or bring your TV to the nearest repair center for them to fix the trouble

My tv turn on for a second and after turn off. it is hitachi 52" old brand.

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

Hitachi 50vs69a blue oval circle in the center of the screen

Just try to reset HDTV. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Had the digital cable box installed yesterday. The tv worked

The cable box has an AC outlet on the back of it and sometimes the installer plugs the TV power cord into it. This outlet has two modes--IE: on all the time or switched. If the outlet happens to be programmed to the switched mode, the cable box has to be on before you can turn on the TV. If the outlet is on all the time, then you can turn the TV on at will. So, you have to decide if the TV is plugged in there or it is plugged into the wall recptacle. If none of this explanation fits, then we need more information.
