Question about Audiovox Corded Phone

1 Answer

I have a two line 2.4GHz At&T land line phone. The volume of sound of voices on incoming and outgoing calls is too low; people often complain that they can not hear me and I have trouble hearing them. What can I do to correct the problem? The set is about 8 to 10 years old. The only number I can find on the phone is 8L55. Thank you.

You simply need to increase the volume. here is a link to your handset manual download and save it. It tells in detail how to increase the volume and much more.

Is the ringer turned off? Or is the volume on the ring tone set too low? Another possibility is that the phone isn't set to receive incoming calls - the Siemens phones I've owned allowed one to specify which handsets could handle incoming calls and outgoing calls on each line.

Kenwood KDC-BT838U -- Low audio on incoming phone calls only.

Patrick -
I have the reverse problem.  Callers can hardly hear me. I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls.  You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both.  Check the manual and make sure its set to both.

Incoming or outgoing calls no sounds

Turn up the volumes on Ear piece -during- a call (on the side of the phone <===>) and on the speaker at any time. The joy stick does it I think.
