Be certain that water is on and flowing to BOTH inlet valves. A common problem is the hoses get hooked up backwards, DAD gets a big hot water bill, turns off the hot water (which is connected to the cold water inlet) and the rinse is cold water, so no water, so the machine just stops and waits, forever.... You can often hear a buzzing of the water valve....

My roper top loading machine washes but will not advance to rinse it fills up but drains immediately after.

Hi,

Please power cycle your washer (ie unplug power for 2 minutes before powering on again). Then, you can move your dial counterclockwise (or opposite the direction that you currently turn your cycle-setting dial) by 90 degrees. Then, attempt a full cycle again. This should help somewhat reset your cycle functions so that it works properly.

Thank you.

My LG washer stops in rinse cycle. Have to unplug restart and set to spin only to finish.

If the washing machine does stop at the rinsing cycle and will not continue , It could have something to do with the machine's timer not working correctly . If the timer is broken or is not working it will have to be replaced to make sure that the machine can be able to run through the rinse cycle again.

'low rinse' stuck on with full rinse aid, can't start wash cycle

Actually, if you look closely at that Low Rinse button or emblem, you will see a little lock symbol above the words "Low Rinse", and I'll bet THAT light is the one that is on. Basically, you have the control lock (or child-lock) turned on. To turn it off, you have to press and hold the Sanitize button for 3 to 5 seconds until that light goes off. Now your dishwasher will work!

This is for a Whirlpool washer and dryer thin stack. All four of the wash cycles work AND all four of the spin cycles work, but the rinse cycles do not work. I have to manually skip it forward past the...

Hello,

I would suspect the water inlet valve as being the problem,if it drains the water and spins the lid switch is going to be good. The thing exclusive to rinse cycles is that they only fill with cold water, and that is what i suspect the problem being is that it's not filling with cold water on the rinse cycle because of a bad water inlet valve.

Maytag DWU8330AAX: glasses, plates, utensils,

Hi,

The rinse cycle is the same as the wash except the wash uses detergent and the rinse uses rinse aid.

The rinse cycle will dispense rinse aid if you have filled the dispenser. Check this first, that would be the most likely cause. Also in the spring as the water table table in most cities begins to rise the water quality goes down, extra calcium in the water can cause this problem.

Here is a link to help understand that. Let me know if you have questions.

Asko w6221 front load washer stops after wash cycle

Do all of your cycles work when you turn them manually? If one cycle does not work when you turn the dial on it then it will be your timer (The dial assembly $100-up) If all your cycles work manually, then it could be your timer motor which is attached to your timer assembly. If you turn the dial pass the wash, on to the rinse, does the dial automaticly move (when finishng the rinse cycle)to the spin cycle? If so then your timer motor is ok. The only wires close to the bottom are the motor, but these should be high enough out of the way.

Dishwasher

Check to see if you have any switches on your dishwasher that could by pass a rinse cycle. Use a hotter temparture when washing, Check your water level, check your filters on your inlet hose top and bottom. When it gets to a rinse cycle you should hear it drain out and bring in fresh water. you could change to a liquid detergent. Dont over load your dishwasher. make sure you are using rinse aid and try adjusting it up one setting. Shiney glasses means your rinse add is working. NZL
