Question about Blizzard Entertainment Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne for Windows, Mac
Unfortunately, the most likely reason is that your macbook air lacks the graphics processing power to handle the cinematics especially if you have the 1st generation mac air. Unlike the macbook pros, macbook airs do not have a dedicated discrete graphics processing unit (GPU) and instead use integrated graphics built onto the motherboard of your computer (not very powerful but good enough for everyday things except gaming). I know this because I've had similar issues with my friend mac air and my own laptop--sometimes things will work and other times they just don't.
