Good Question, somewhat difficult item to find but here it is. It's an odd card reader in that most, self install. Yours requires a download, since you haven't included your: PC, Make and Model, Operating System, etc. You may have to make choices in the download window ie, pick, from a drop-down list which Operating System you are using... cr-75p -download

Download Link Checked and Working as of 3/15/2011

PROBLEM WITH DIGITAL CONCEPTS SIM CARD READER CR-75P

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.A memory card reader is a handy device and are inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos offyour memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

I cant transfer the pictures from the cam to the comp. I have installed the software from the CD and when i connect the cam to the comp and click on "start transfer", I get a "found 13....24...

I have found lately that some of the new computer operating systems are not at all compatible with camera firmware. The camera software appears to work but as you are experiencing the transfer of files doesn't function. I'm surprised that it's actually restarting the computer, which makes me wonder if you have followed the correct transfer work flow. I'm not saying this camera but some, you need to have the camera off while installing the cable between the camera and computer and then push and hold the playback button for a long second before you get the transfer screen.

The work around all of this is to purchase a card reader, make sure it is capable of handling the SDHC memory card, I would also suggest that you purchase a Multiple port card reader so that in the future the reader can be used with different memory cards.

The Card Reader plugs into a USB port on the computer and the memory card installs in the reader port. The computer looks at this as an external hard drive (mass storage device) and you can download your picture files to a folder you create in My Documents (computer hard drive). These picture files can then be opened in the camera software.

Basically all you have done is step around the camera firmware and ended any conflict in programing. I don't know if you are PC or Mac but the problem I've found started when Windows introduced their new Windows 7.

I just purchased a LumixZR3 - my computer does not "see" the camera when plugged into the USB port. I installed the softward (PhotofunStudio) that came with the camera. That has not worked. ...

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

I lost my installation disc for my polaroid i1035 camera. can i download it? or what are my options? Its been over 6 months since purchase. thanks.

Hi,

You can download pictures from your camera to your computer by using a memory card reader

You can use your computer's built-in memory card reader, if it has one, or you can purchase an external memory card reader as shown in the attached image

75a10ee.jpg

To do this, kindly remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a card reader. Connect the card reader to the USB port of your PC.

Now, the memory card will be shown as a 'Removable disk' in "My Computer". You can browse the images and copy the images to your computer.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.
