Make sure the cords are firmly secured in both the tv and the system. Then it could be an issue of your system getting switched to HDMI mode when you have component cables or vice versa, and if that's the case, just hold down the power button and until it beeps twice.

Samsung TV Is Not Picking Up A Playstation 3 HDMI Signal

If you are able to connect your PS3 to another TV using the same HDMI cable that would rule out your PS3, if it works.....or
does the PS3 itself have any settings that perhaps need to be set to an HDMI output as opposed to Composite or SCART etc?
Also have a look at the HDMI settings in theh TV menu too.

When i turn on my ps3 and change the tv output to the right one it says "no signal only audio" at first i thought it was my hdmi wire but i got a new one and tried that and it still doesn't...

Try the alternative connection, with other TV set. This means change your TV for moment and check it with the PS3. Use AV connection if you have provisions to make sure if your PS3 has video signal. This will ensure you that your PS3 is working fine. If you can't get any signal out, then check your PS3. Other options is, setting your TV's NTSC/PAL system to auto mode for video signal. This function can be done using remote control or user manual can also be a good help.

It sounds like the PS3 is sending a signal that the television isn't 100% compatible with. I'd start by plugging the PS3 in using standard RCA jacks, and making sure that the video and audio configuration settings are all set to automatic. Then, plug back in using the HD cords that you have, and the PS3 should reconfigure its signal output to match what the TV can handle.

Reconfiguring PS3 station. It was used at a neighbor's house with internal network configuration. Now it does not work in a standalone mode. It shows that it does not have signal connection.

Your PS3 is still under your neighbors internet connection I believe. Go into the PS3's Network configuration and scan for your signal and you should be set. :)

To output Dolby Digital or DTS audio, you must connect the PS3™ system and the audio device using a digital optical cable and switch to [Digital Out (Optical)] under [Audio Output Settings].

Problem connecting my PS3 to my Sharp Aquos LC-C3237U LCD TV

Your PS3 set itself above the max resolution your LC-C3237U. Most likely the PS3 is doing 1080P, but the highest the Sharp can do is 1080i. So do this:

1. Connect PS3 to TV (you can use the current cable or analog cable)
2. Turn on TV and set input to port PS3 is on.
3. Make sure PS3 is connected via correct cable.
4. Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for all settings.

PS3 can't detect access point

i have some solutions..
1. if there's lots of walls between the router and your ps3 it may not detect the signal. i had a very weak signal until i moved some stuff around.
2. you can manually type in your wireless name and i think it should at least reconize it, and maybe connect.
3. make sure theres no firewalls or anything to block other connections from entering your signal.
thats all i can say, sorry im not a tech guy-only 17!

there are many possible reasons and solutions for this
-sometimes the weather can block the signal to a router or PS3
-the closer the router is to your PS3 the better the signal
-try not to have a wall interfering with the signal to the ps3
-a computer in your house may have a signal that is interfering with the signal to your ps3
-maybe comcast just sucks?
-try using a wired connection
