Drivers for M5641

There is no difference whatsoever between drivers for Vista Home, Vista Ultimate or, indeed, any version of Vista. They are all the same Operating System just with bits enabled or disabled accordingly.

Please can you clarify exactly which OS you have. Is it 32 bit or 64 bit? You will almost certainly have the 32-bit version and need to go to the appropriate page. 64-bit drivers will not work with 32-bit Os's and vice versa.

Just in case, here is the link for the drivers... yoiu just need to choose the exact OS remembering the 32 bit option (assuming you do have a 32-bit OS)

Integrated Camera is not reconized by vista 64-bit.. Please help me....

Very often you will find that not much older periferials like Cameras, Printers, Ipods, Scanners, and many Applications do NOT work with VISTA 64 Bit O.S..

First go to the CAMERA MANUFACTURER Customer Services or Website and see if they have a PATCH or another Driver for this camera so it can operate on VISTA 64 Bit. If it does, simply DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER AND "RUN" it and it will replace to old driver and your Camera will Run Properly,

If there is no Driver offered to run on 64 bit program then you have more serious issues that require more radical fixes which you have to evaluate on the basis of how much you need the Periferial or can there be a substitute that can run on the 64 bit program. 64 Bit programs are basically not much different from the much more popular 32 Bit Programs your camera would probably work on, no problem.

Try Calling Microsoft Customer Service and/or look on their Home Page for Solutions but generally the only alternative is:

1) Return the Camera and Exchange for one that runs on Vista 64 bit O.S.
2) Downgrade your Computer to a 32 Bit Version of Vista.
3) Look for the latest Beta Solutions you usually find on Google that may fix this

Vista 64 Bit O.S. Versions are only necessary if you are using more than 4 GB of RAM for e.g. GAMMERS who require a lot of Memory (actually up to 128 GB). Otherwise there is little difference between 32 and 64 bit versions. As VISTA was not that popular to begin with, many manufacturers did not bother providing UPGRADED SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS for VISTA 64 BIT assuming few would buy it off the shelf and mostly their product would be used with WIn XP or Vista 32 Bit until the Next Microsoft O.S. Came around.

Vista is a Memory Hog and as such should be used with only 4 GB of RAM for it to run properly. 3 is adequate, 2 GB its lethargic at best. VISTA 32 bit HAS A LIMIT OF 4 GB of RAM so that is cutting it close but still a better idea to "DOWNGRADE" to 32 Bit so your O.S. would be much more compatable with other Periferals and Software Applications. Many Periferals ( appliances) and Applictions will not run on 64 bit programs especially if they were designed before 64 bit was introduced. THE BEST FIX, IF YOU ARE NOT A RAD GAMMER REQUIRING MORE THAN 4 GB OF RAM is to "DOWNGRADE" TO VISTA 32 bit or even better to Windows XP if your computer can work with that O.S.: check with the Manufacturer. Your camera may even work on XP 64 bit.

Kodak still makes some nice disposable Film Cameras; you can take your pictures then have them developed, and scan them into your computer that is if your SCANNER STILL WORKS with the 64 bit program LOL

Good Luck

3D live view is black.

A fix for my setup (Windows Vista, Dell Latitude D530, Mobile Intel Chipset 965 Express) was to reduce the screen's colour depth from 32 bit to 16 bit. Do this via Control Panel->Adjust screen resolution.

Mouse scroll strip stopped working!

Okay, try this.

(a) Assuming your touchpad is still not working, grab an external mouse and plug it in. That will work just as well.
(b) Assuming you already restored your PC to factory condition and it's working, then go to

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3795434&lang=en for Vista 32-bit drivers or

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2100&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3795434&lang=en for Vista 64-bit drivers.

Download and install, and that should get you going. Post back with how it goes.

Centrios X7 gaming mouse

It should work on Vista 32-bit. It says explicitly in the manual that it WILL NOT work with 64-bit Vista. I think you're out of luck, dude.
